I completely support the return of the August 2007 system. However, starting from scratch from level 3 without any boost(s), options or one-time offers/transfers will drive off a lot of players. Thousands of players just don't have the patience or time that they used to, in order to start from level 3 again. It's of utmost importance that this be further looked at, to make even MORE players return for this and make it fully successful. Take into consideration the following;

- There are many players/people that do NOT want to start from absolute scratch(even though they support this and are willing to try it out)
- I don't think there will even be one abyssal whip in the game for at least 6 months or some LONG amount of time.
- No one will have the requirements/stats to complete quests such as monkey madness for the dragon scimitar, for a long time. (it was one of the most popular and best weapons back then)
- There would be no barrows gear in the game for a LONG time.
- There wouldn't be any exciting high-risk PKing or gaming in general for a damn LONG time since everyone is apparently starting from scratch.

Things such as pride, time-spent, success, levels, rares/non-tradeables and more will more than likely be missing, which will simply drive off a lot of potential players. Either way, I'd love to play it and give it a shot but I can absolutely assure you that there will be lot of unconvinced and bored players in regards to "starting fresh". Hope that matter gets looked at.

75k players online and amount of members total is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT some of you DO NOT understand that.

Yes theres F2P but the amount of F2P'ers online compared to members is about 1/3 Look at the worlds and amount of people on each one and tell me im wrong.

So let's say 50k/75k are online members at all times.

Let's say Some people have multiple members accounts? Before EOC I know I had 3.

Let's say some people are not online 24/7 ( Everyone who isn't botting )

I can Guesstimate 250k+ Votes, especially if we get people who don't know to vote, I have about 10 friends who quit with remaining membership.

Plus you know all of the bot farmers are going to vote for it so they can have a second source of GP considering RS2 Classic GP will be in REALLY HIGH DEMAND.

So let's stop doubting ourselves.

And to the people who don't like it and say they won't play it, why not ******* vote? It doesn't hurt you at all and you are helping out your fellow runescapians and giving them what they want, if you want to play EOC then by all means do it, I just have to ask why prohibit someone else's fun just because of your opinion on which gamestate is better?

@The people using the argument we lose nothing by voting yes. Despite what you seem to think, Jagex hiring staff to maintain the servers is a waste of resources that they could be focusing on fixing problems in the live game such as freedom, stuns, gambling.

Save yourself the breath, I played both 'old' rs and EoC , and I, along with countless others, still prefer EoC.

I don't understand why you would want to go back to before the days of GWD/Nex/g.e for some pking, in bad graphics, using luck to kill people, with no content updates... Can anybody say boring?

What happens when bots and those loser h/c hosts find their way over to 07scape? Once everybody has 85+ slayer and the markets are controlled by clans. At that point you may as well be playing the EoC.

I will be voting no in whichever manner possible.

it'd be good if jagex didn't make it blatantly obvious that this was purely for the money...come on guys you know that there isn't even 250,000 people that still play this game and jagex know that the bots aren't going to vote for this..jagex will make millions from this thing then claim they need constant squeel and solomons updates to fund it.
