I really hope that we can bring the full thing back. According to the highscores now**** has over 1.8 million members (Lmao) and if all of them can vote then 750k votes doesn't seem as impossible as people I thought.
I'm also estimating that at least 40% players won't vote because they're addicted to Eoc don't care for any of the other players who want the old RS back. There may also be 10-15% of members who do may not know about the vote. We need about 40% of members to vote and we should have around 45-50%. However, if the vote was only limited to the actual player base, i don't think there would be any hope in restoring the Runescape we once knew.

I am Lost for Words... I haven't played this game in AGES (haven't been serious playing with this game) since G.E came out, and i logged on to try EoC and i absolutely Dread it.

I Very much hope that this passes through, I for one, will Resub just to put my vote down on the table! Cause honestly, i Dont mind starting from scratch on the 2007 server.

07 WILL RISE AGAIN!

Starting from scratch is THE best part, everyones noob, everyone has the chance to be the best.

Im fairly high level, this is not my first account and i couldnt care less about my whole bank/char. Getting same chances as everyone to start over = most fun and biggest motivation boost ever.

This is the first time I've been on in 2 years. I personally have a mixed opinion on this I believe making a 2007 era server is a glorious idea and should be implemented. BUT 500k votes is impossible and nobody wants to shovel away an extra 15 bucks for nostalgia most of us will still stay with private servers thank you very much. I personally don't mind paying 8 bucks and maybe another 5 if you're that desperate for cash but if you let this become as broken as your 'classic' adventure then you have no right to be making a 2007 server let the private server guys (who have the dedication.) keep doing what they do best. I personally will not give you 8 bucks for a maybe i get a cup of expensive coffee from [insert name here] and get more enjoyment out of that then a month of this terrible game. You should let everyone here FROM 2007 or before regardless if they pay you or not vote because those will be the ones who pay you for this and not EoC as for now I will stay with private servers. Until I see progress in the right direction. Also yeah I play private servers ban me if ya want. I don't really care about this game or the company anymore it seems like the only reason you do this is for the money not the fanbase or game itself EVEN THIS i believe is just another cry for money before you go bankrupt.

I will be voting for the remake, but here's my 2 cents on the idea. For those people saying you won't vote, just think about how much extra revenue it'll give Jagex towards developing your EoC game.

These goals are very unreasonable.

And to that IDIOT spamming this thread saying there were "500k people that signed up for that ps", SHUT UP. It's idiots like you that are making society so pathetic. Majority of those people were f2p, so can't vote anyways. Thus rendering your argument invalid.

Anyways back to my main point. The goals are unreasonable. There are not even 750k active members as shown by the hiscores.

What you need to do is allow either f2p players that were members for x-amount of time or have a certain skill level/total xp to vote.

Even if people renew their membership today does that mean they can't vote?

I am relatively confident that 250k votes will be reached but I know that without something being changed there is not a chance at 750k.

It really should've been 50k, 150k, 250k, and MAYBE 500k.
