it isnt just the 2007 game that people loved it was the people that played it and the fact hardley anyone botted, as for old schoolers comming back this will probley be worse then what you did with runescape classic, spoke to a few people who used to play back in the day and they all agreed its a little late to be listening to the community now.

"To clear up any confusion on this matter I want to confirm that our Unique Active Player stats for the proceeding 14 Days from Monday the 11th Feb was actually 8,229,459!
So as to the pockets of cynicism that this vote is somehow setup to fail due to barely enough members to hit the first level of viability, you really could not be more wrong."

A quote from Mod MMG.

In this quote, the Unique Active Player stats was apparently over 8 million. Does this clearly refer to just members? Not that I can see. In the next paragraph he states that we do have enough members, yes does not specify if the 8 million are members or not.

Another thing we have to remember is of those 8 million, how many are bots? Will the Programers get the bots to vote...? Id say more than half of said accounts are bots.

Im all for this update. It is something that was needed long ago.

Riad.

This is the wrong thing for Jagex to do.

1. EOC already made the game lose players.

2. Now with another drastic change the game will just be split into smaller two groups?

3. The fee of the game will go up?

4. Two versions being worked on and both versions will be mediocre instead of one being awesome.

5. Get out your pay checks because the game that you all were complaining about is going to cost more money due to additional staff.

6. Can you really take a dead horse and liven it up again? Are you serious?

Jagex at first I was excited but when I read the fine print. Work on the current game and incorporate parts of old runescape into it as well as keep updating dead areas of the game is how you make the game more exciting. Make new skills, create 99's into 120's by creating fresh ideas into the skilling. Update your clan system into a better working entity and the citadel needs some updates. Update old NPC's that have poor loots and create new NPC's. Launch of KK was very fun.

Quit taking the lazy way out and go backwards and make everyone start over again. Big no. You should be asking your members for fresh ideas for the game, instead of steering everyone into thinking that going back to yesteryear is the way to go.

And while you are at get rid of most of forums areas. Make it more simple so people can get to you faster. Create a Better Suggestion area that is well reviewed by your staff. And create a problem area. Concentrate on a better customer service area overal.

And quit creating hurry up the skill updates like Runespan.

A good way to introduce rares would be to give players the items they had in 2007. This could be a gift from Jagex to their loyal players. If the rollback includes skills, it would also mean that low-level training spots will be less overcrowded and there will be more variety in the game from the start.

I hate EOC, but I don't like the idea of starting over again. 7 years of building up a character, not ready to let go of all my achievements. But I'll still vote yes!!! Doubt I'll play it, but I like the concept and support those who want it.

Would be great if we could keep the same stats and switch back and forth like we do worlds. Have certain worlds be RS 2007 and EOC worlds.. LOL

Nice to see Jagex giving their members a choice. There isn't a reason to vote "no." Hard to keep up with all the updates anyways. EOC version will still be updated.

look forward to casting my vote.
