I could see Jagex letting christmas crackers/masks/santas out to the people online during the first day or two. May there could be a 10% chance of recieving these items upon login for members. It could be a one-time thing for each member account that logs in on those first few days. You could argue that people will buy multiple memberships to get rares, but the problem is that they will be common enough to where the cost wouldn't be justified, and you would be better off skilling to earn the money to buy one :)

To everyone who is abstaining because of skill tranfers:

How, in your mind, do you think an xp transfer would work out?

It's nearly impossible to get EVERYONE'S stats and item base don memory or current stats. It can also be abused.

Be glad that you will be able to see your noob days again and grow up with everyone again. An exp transfer is unreasonable in an already gracious offering.

This is awesome!! But just one question...

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

I never thought this could happen, I am very thankful to Jagex and this update ( if successful) will bring back thousands of players and basically shut down most private servers. Restarting from scratch is definitely the best part of this, while still having your old account for eoc when wanted. This is basically a new game with a whole new economy. it will be like runescape is a new game, looking forward :) i can tell you So Wreck3d has made his point clear too hundreds of thousands of players and i almost guarantee the poll will be a success :D

See you in the main game in less then 6 months RSC is still very popular!! (no it's not) Have fun, as others have said I hope they milk you for all it's worth so progress can be paid for (main server) Once rs3 is complete they will have such a surplus of new players, that all your comments about eoc was the worst mistake ever will be laughable.

Atleast the bot detection system wont be there, so enjoy your jacked up high scores with days :-P
