The starting at level 3 posts are getting annoying. I am not sure why any of you were expecting anything else. How would it even be logical to start out with levels or armor or your whole bank. It makes absolutely no sense. The 06 servers all start you at level 3, you won't find a good one that won't. I WANT to start out as level 3 so that I am at an even playing field as everyone else when it comes out.

I worked hard for my levels on this account just like the rest. But it's not like they're being taken away by the server coming back. Old rs was more of a challenge and is a lot more fun.

I will explain this to you in the most simplistic way I can

Okay, so to start off, let's say you are level 110 combat (as a pre EoC form of combat). With this knowledge, you would have to be an idiot to go and kill chickens for Feathers. So, that being said, assuming most people are lv 80+, not many feathers would be in the game. Making feather prices skyrocket. This is basically why they are doing this. If they let all accounts transfer over, the economy would be so centralized over high lv players (along with the gameplay being very poor) that the playerbase of said 2007 server would dwindle to nothing until around 7 months down the road when the server would be shut down due to empty investments.

Let's say everybody starts at level 3. People would HAVE to train combat on low level monsters, such as chickens. These players would pick up the feathers and use them themselves or just sell to a different player for a certain amount of gold. That is how the economy would balance itsself out*

**;dr If accounts get transferred over, the economy would be terrible and would lead to a downfall of the game in less than 7 months. Results in empty investments by Jagex.

I know what I'm voting. This is a waste of resources for Jagex and simply not a good idea. It does indeed divide the community, and while everyone on "Sowrecked" or whatever his name is's video was proclaiming the goodness that is no EoC, I highly doubt many of them were serious about paying $15 and starting at level 3.

Furthermore, the lack of content updates would just drive people back to the main game anyway. It's the same reason there's so few people on Classic - Old school is never better, regardless of how crazy nostalgia drives them. If you do this, it's not going to last long.

Frankly, I'd prefer if the extra developers you hire work solely on the current 2013 Runescape, as that is where the future really is.

Regardless of if there is a no option or not, "2007" servers will not be receiving my support.
