If you started a game with that logic, you would not be very successful. As Jagex has learned and as I have seen this game's playerbase dwindling. The playerbase in 2013 was not even 1/4 of the playerbase in 2007. The "Adapt or Quit" logic is completely ignorant.

Well MMG, I do hope you have some gravy to go with that bird feast!

I have no doubts that this wasn't your "idea" and that given the choice, you wouldn't have done it.

However, I find it interesting that you've been able to pick jagex up and put themselves in a "win-win" situation... regardless of the outcome of the "vote", jagex gets membership from tens of thousands who want to vote (I'd warn you to be cautious with that because it could blow up in your face, but.. you know.. ).

In the short run, it could end up a bunch of extra cash for jagex.. in the long run it could end up bringing back a game that so many people want to play.

My 2 cents worth.. I would pay 15 or more a month for that upper end idea.. but not for a game you want to treat the way you have classic. You bailed on classic, and your history suggests that you'd bail on another and it would end up in the same state by the choices you make.

Time will tell.. but I'm sure finding it entertaining believing that you have so little confidence in the fans of this game.

I'd totally be pumped for this if we didn't have to start from scratch. I've put a TON of hours into my account and I'm decently close to reaching a max cape.
1) I don't want to have to regain all my levels, mostly because of the time I've already spent.

2) Given EVERYONE will be starting from scratch, all the major training spots will be packed with a TON of players. (If there aren't a large amount of server worlds)

To sum it up, I'm glad they're finally listening to the community because even though I do enjoy some aspects of the EOC, it is VERY different and I can understand how some people do not like it.

I just don't get it. Why would anyone want to be a part of a community that is never going to get updates and can only shrink over time?

The fact is the old combat triangle was broken and styles were not applied correctly giving unfair advantages.

Yes there are tons of eoc glitches but they are being fixed and overall the re-balances are getting combat to a pretty healthy place.

Also while the actionbar could be a good deal less "in the way" it is a huge improvement over the old systems.

The short version is eoc is a step in the right direction and a game without updates is only going to fade out. Look at classic.
