I'm curious how Jagex is going to implement adding rares to the game... Surely most veterans will return for the content and to relive the good ol' days of pking and maxing, but what rewards does that leave? Just a massive pile of Rune armour and weapons? Maybe some Godswords? Where are those Partyhats going to come from?

Question Jagex... If old vertrin players want to come back and vote, they most likely won't be members, perhaps you can change your decision to allow f2p accounts that are so many years old to vote as well? This will keep the vote from people rigging it like they did with the wilderness vote and allow your older players to still vote. Perhaps since it's a 2007 server (almost 2008), make it so any account made in early 2008 or before as f2p to vote?

You know if You would have just kept everything the way it was in the first place, your player community would be so high there would be no need for Solomon's store or squeel of fortune or advertisements, instead of charging people $25 a month if you put it back to the reasonable $7-8 you will have enough players to make up for the lack of profit..
