My personal opinion:

Let's ask Runescape's history itself, we need to learn from the past - in order to move forward.

Millions of players voted for the restoration of Wildy Pking, but where are they now?

Look at the game today, go to the Wildy ---> it is very rare to see a pker in a typical RS wildy today..........eventhough so many pushed for the restoration of the wildy pk.

This scenario will repeat, as the saying goes "history repeats itself"......Those that favor 2007 flavor will get the numbers that they require, but I'm sure (basing my deductive reasoning from Runescape's history) those same 2007 servers will be abandoned by the nostalgics themselves within its first 6-months of existence.

Also a suggestion on the issue of the Poll being Member's only.

I've been reading a lot of posts on a fansite forum about the issue and I posted this as a suggestion to help F2P player's vote on the Poll.

"Why not allow player's that are not member's, but have over 50 day's played on their account (which can be found on the Adventure Log) to vote on the Poll, this would allow old player's and people that have played the game but only as F2P to show their support and are able to voice their opinion on this matter."

I hope Jagex see's this and I hope something can be done.

AS i've said before, I think treasure trials rewards fills the job of rates as something expensive to work towards. Larupia's idea is pretty cool tho, if a money sink was ever needed.

Also the amount of people that haven't read the news and faq posts are white frightening.
