Wow, Jagex. You're way too kind :D . You have to understand though, haters gonna hate; they never stop looking for ludicrous reasons to complain.
I've been playing since 2004 and can vouch that Runescape is better now than it ever was. After over 8 years, after all my real life friends quit, it still manages to keep me interested - how awesome is that? So I certainly won't be playing an inferior version. But I do feel sorry for the extremely vocal minority who cannot accept progress, and would rather have the exactly same thing for years. If they want it so badly, it's not a huge loss to give them that, is it?
The main game and subscription prices better not be affected by this, though. *I'm watching you*

Once player's earn enough GP to buy said Rare they want from the store, they can and the stock will drop and drop until there is none left to buy and once that happens these items will be classed as "Rare". And the price will start to rise above the starting price that was the store price.

So it'll be based on who works the hardest to obtain the money required to buy said Rare item and that's why I think it would be fair and give players a goal to work towards on the server."

Although this is nicely thought out and I would have almost agreed on this concept, however, I am finding one flaw in this. And it's bots. The ones who will 'work the hardest to obtain the money required' will be the bots. So it has loopholes in it thus will not be 'fair' to the real players etc.

Really wish everybody would shut the hell up about rares. They don't make the game. Christ!

Also I people need to realise, this doesn't affect the main game, it would be a game on the side. Not only that, you don't HAVE to pay for it. It's optional. Even if the people who don't want it to be implemented voted yes, they would still profit from it.

So many idiots, it's unreal.

In terms of rares, I think the best idea may be to release them during events so everyone has a chance to get them back, if not doing that I don't think it'd be right to include them at all. The Outcast as of 03/05/2016 - Council Member
