As I stopped reading comments from page 31, I figured some people have said this already.
This is a waste of time and resources if this actually goes through. Sure you said that this won't affect the main game, but like Classic, these servers will be dead really quickly, if not die sooner than Classic did. I honestly hope that this is just a troll to get more money, and even with all the necessary votes for the no additional fees, that it doesn't happen, I'd be happier if you guys trolled the players like that than see you release this time/resource waste.
Also, please, PLEASE stop caving into the whiners and beggers. We won't move forward as a community if you keep catering to those who drag us down. I wouldn't mind seeing 2007'scape again, but I'm not voting for its return. I also hope that the voting process isn't the same as with the wildy/free trade return, where you just have to put in the username, since that'll mess up the vote count. If anything, either allow us to vote "No," or make us log in completely to vote, otherwise your numbers are gonna be messed up...
Yay for a more split community...Some have adapted through the years, other cling to the past, because that's what was "best." I went through high school with RS, and, while yes it was awesome, it was some of the best days of my life. But that I can attribute more to hanging out with friends and playing a great game with them, not for the game itself. If I'm at all nostalgic, it'll be just for the mechanics. I seriously hope this doesn't come to pass, or, if it does, with the necessary votes to have no additional cost (money's tight enough as it is, won't pay extra for this), but that's not likely so I hope it doesn't happen.
