I'm kinda torn on this update to say the least. Sure, i grew up on the '06-'07 era when the game was surely more alive. However, the amount of time i've played on post '09 vastly outways the earlier time, and have enjoyed myself more. Nostalgia isn't a bad thing though. The only downside I see is everyone who votes for the re-installment, will start off playing immediately, and the mad grab for basic resources will be insane. If this is anything like the Wild poll years ago, there is no doubt tier 4 will come to fruition. Then everyone who rage quits over the lack of available resources to train will return to the EoC, complain again, and leave. I'm not quite sure what to think about this at this point.
To the people wanting non-members to vote: This is going to be just like the poll that was made a few years ago to bring back the wilderness. That poll, while even still the outcome would have been the same, was highly infested with fake accounts people made on the spot to vote with. It's not hard to set up an email account, set up an account, and vote that way. By opening the poll to members, not only does that show that they currently support Jagex, but also shows, by voting or not, that the people who give them money every month care enough to put/ not put out their voice. In addition, if people who quit return, by paying membership, they will, most likely, get their wish at a current level of membership instead of the possible $15/month. Jagex is, after all, a company. Just be grateful they even paid attention to the whining and complaining over such an issue.
