Also...
Odds are you don't care about stat crossovers due to you more than likely already failing on EoC servers, therefore do not care about failing even harder on 2007 servers.

Are you kidding me? You play 5 years after 2007 and you want stat crossovers after you were able to get such easy experience with new training methods? If you want to keep your stats then just play on EoC.

This makes me incredibly happy. I've played since 2003 and loved '07. I'm glad your confident that it won't affect the quality of either version because i know i'd really enjoy a fresh account on a 2007 version but i'd also want to continue playing my "main" account on the current version.

I have to agree with Malcolm X and imillion. Ive put almost two and a half thousand hours on my account. Doesn't matter how badly I hate EoC, and want the old style of combat back, I'm not sure I want to start right from lvl 3 again. I enjoy being a high lvl player, with decent stats. It's what I'm used to. To be a noob again.... ugh. XD Seriously though, I see no reason why we can't have our stats in the 2007 version. At the very least, our stats from that year, as a tiny head start.

Thank you so much JaGex for this update to take place. Ive jus* bought my membership back for RuneScape as soon as i saw this update. I quit because of the Evolution of Combat update i thought that it would ruin the game. Maybe if JagGex had said at the same time as releasing the Evolution of Combat that they were going to do this update for the 2007 servers to be up then we would have probably have about 750k votes already. Alot of players quit because of the Evolution of Combat update but who was JaGex to know that would happen.

but im sure if people played RuneScape for years like i have then they will come back and check recent updates like i did four days ago. And then knowtice that the 2007 server is coming back

made me pay for my membership instantly and start playing again and because we are all going to be level 3 again it puts more of a competetive edge to the game. thanks for reading. hope everyone is looking forward to RuneScape 2007 style!

back in 2007 you couldn't change your ingame name(display name)
will you be able to do that now? or will your logg in name be your permanent display name?

I'll get straight to the point. Players who were ONCE members before the 2007 updates, should without a doubt get a chance to vote in this poll FOR FREE. New-coming players (ex. 2010 or later) don't give a damn about what occurred in the past.

Why should they ALONE get to decide the fate?!

The whole purpose of this 'goal-oriented' poll is to make EVEN MORE money. The 2007 servers have been available since 2007. What happened when Jagex drove away the LOYAL fan base that kept them AFLOAT with only a small $5 monthly payment, they realized that they could CAPITALIZE ON THEIR MISTAKES. Squeal of Fortune rolled out, an 'HD' version of the game became available, new aesthetics that required cash payments to receive came out. If you can't see where I'm going with this, this was an elaborate plan. Remove the current fan base, wait long enough until they forget, and establish a new one that's unaware of its history.

It is a total slap in the face, to players that were here before the frivolous and chaotic updates, and the members who endured it. The people who didn't quit, had a genuine passion for the game and many of them spent years fighting for things to go back to the way they once were. I was one of those people.

I have a 1499 Total Skill Level and have been a non-member for over a year, despite being a loyal-paying customer for 6 years (2005-2011).

That being said, I should be capable of posting wherever I want within this forum (given I only need a 350 total skill level to so).

This would be posted in the Old School Runescape section, but apparently, I'm not 'qualified'.
