They could also have a day one drop for the rares.
Have them randomly drop like they did back in the day.
Then after that day don't release anymore.

In time they'll go up.

But I'm kind of against rares in a way.
I'd rather spend gold on stats.

Pricing a subscription anything higher than the membership fee of the main game (keep in mind the main game has significantly higher management costs) is absurd, given the price inelasticity of subscription based business models. Regardless of how the polls turn out, only a very small population would want to pay $13/$15 a month for a game that doesn't receive any updates (or very few), and has very little overhead costs. They are pricing themselves out of profitability by doing so.

That being said, I say we ALL SHOULD vote for legacy servers to help Jagex realize that the price point for anything other than the cost of a membership is too high and will kill demand for the game.

This is very exciting!

I hope that Jagex keep to the date they said and dont implement anything from after or anything new.

The only change I wouldn't mind seeing is the option of having better graphics and/or playing fullscreen, mainly because they way I remember the original game screen is tiny compared to what I'm used to from runescape! Either way im very happy to see Jagex actually went through with this

I think we should have our stats reset personally, speaking as a player with 9? 99s (im not sure I haven't played in months) We should all get a fair chance.

Well i for one am just glad 2007 is coming back, but i think jagex set the levels too high, we only have 1.4M members? and only 600-700k of them are active?
I also think stats should be reset to give a fresh economy and everyone a fair shot.
Rares... well they are a good means to hold your money but without them u might not even achieve that amount of money to begin with.

The original FORUM annoucement said, "However we think that we can make it ready INSIDE 1 or 2 months". So less than a month at the soonest and 2 months at the most. This new announcement shaves off a couple of weeks of wait. I still think your right about it being longer and would expect it to come closer to the 2 months from now.
