This seems like a great idea! I would definitely like this to happen. Only dislike I have is why would everyone have to start from scratch all over again.. I've played for years and worked hard on my character. Why not be able to use our current characters on these "Old School" servers?? That would be amazing!

WHEN THE COMMUNITY SPLITS it will be the hard working skillers/pkers that like to see a reward from their time they invested in skilling. If you skilled back then you actually reaped the rewards. Today in EoC you hardly profit from skills. Look at mining - 40m for 99.. Thats pathetic. Skills take no time to level to 99 anymore, 200k xp/hr in many stats!? The economy is ruined, so is the community. Billions of gps floating around because of systems like LootShare and the G.E. The social side to the current game has dwindled to about nothing, you hardly interact with players nowadays except for the **casional game of cws or being in a clan.

What will be left of the community in EoC?
It will consist mainly of gamblers and whiners. I say whiners because I think its fair to say that everyone who doesn't want an 07 server back whines about us. They call us whiners but they really have no reason to complain about us - IF YOU DONT WANT AN 07 SERVER BACK DON'T VOTE! Simple as that.

this is amazing! those of you who would not want this you dont have to play it will not affect you whatsoever. so there doesnt need to be a no vote. you should still vote yes though! dont be a buzz kill for the people who would like to see this cheap..... i cant pay 15 dollars for it when i want to be a member to the new game also. we need to make this cheap!

why all the way back to 2 2007 when this all started because of eoc. So before the Eoc were you not happy with the already existing version? im all for the servers, because I for one is an Rs vet and because special attacks were beast and what made runescape unique to other games. I'd just be satisfied with pre-epc servers. who really wants to go back to standing around and trading again... that's just absurd. Then why does our old new version of rs (if that makes sense) involve us having to start over in order to play. Eoc players didn't have to start over in order for the forcible change... meaning the status of their account wasn't altered. So how are rares going to be put into our version of runescape. Not fair that if you were rich before the eoc, you lose it all. I know how bad we all want and miss the old runescape but alot of people had more time and were younger. Do you actually want to do all those quests and have to train all over again. By the way no matter how this goes down in the end note that jagex has the overall benefit such as a flower host.
