I don't expect everyone to be fine with the reset. & I don't expect the economy to be perfect. It will take time to become normalized.
There may be bots running rampant. It's one of my worries. But that changes nothing.
This is basically a new game. It should be treated as such. I would like to experience the game from the beginning. I do not want to log in and immediately see a maxed out main. It would just take the entire enjoyment out of it for me.

If you're claiming the economy will not work because it will be starting from scratch. Then you have obviously not played pre-GE. The game was perfectly fine back in the day.

You are making a fool of yourself. I'm not being selfish. You are.
You want to take your stats on EOC and put them on Runescape 07 and make training and gathering resources useless.
Who wants to mine on RS07 if there's already tons and tons of resources in the game already?
You can always get on your character in the main game and your progress will be there. Yet you want to ruin the enjoyment of starting over and having meaning to the game.
If anyone is selfish. It's you.

Okay, first of all I have played pre-ge,

and guess what genius? there were people maxed out then.
How can this be a new game if it was based on 2007?
you want 8 years of my life to be reset? just so you can experience the only childhood memories you probably had?? no thanks, I'll pass.
How am I being selfish? if anything all I'm asking for is for my stats to be the way they were in 2007 atleast. what's your problem? like seriously? there will always be new players, why not start your nostalgic back to the past journey with them, and let us enjoy the stats we have earned?

You can enjoy your stats you've earned.
On the EOC servers.
While leaving us to enjoy building our game from the ground up.

Though I'm not really too worried.
I doubt Jagex would transfer stats over.
It would make no sense for them to do so.

if we have bank and stat transfers the rich will all come to rs2007 and just dominate the economy.

if we have bank transfers then the rich will become the strong and dominate the economy.

if we have stat transfers the maxed will cash out on abby demons, barrows, dark beasts, dag kings etc. then become the rich and dominate the economy.

believe me guys i want to be able to make money off barrows and whips again but i certainly don't want to just be able too as soon as 2007scape starts up. I want to earn it again just like back in the day. the point of 2007scape is to make it just like the game was back then and the best way to do so is start over, this reset is a one time thing that we may never experience again. Bots will be there but you know something? that $5 extra will detour mass botting as it will cost too much (i am completely sure we will only reach the 250k milstone). people will have to write bot programs for 2007scape and since the economy is new people won't know what to bot or if they can even profit from it since no one has money. It's gonna be fun Dan I'm sure of it

I completely understand your point of view and agree with no bank transfers.
let me just remind you that you will not always stay at the bottom of the food chain if you train. I have earned the skills and I do not want to play in the eoc.
I'm not an elite, I'm not rich, I simply just want to get back to pking and some pvm.
I do not want to spent a year finishing quests, getting half the skills I have already gotten, just so everyone could have a fresh start because they're scared of people controlling the economy. let me remind you that there will be staking and probably gamblers..I'm not one of them. I just want to get back at what I love doing, as inconvenient as possible.
