oh ya, we should definately keep our stats

because that way all of those botters would have their stats too, and everybody would have every 99 just like in the main game!

I remember when I used to show off my Runescape stats, when my Runecrafting cape meant something. Now all I have is a "nice botted cape"

@Lunar Revin

I also came across the initial idea of a super super low drop chance from a monster, or a super low chance from the drop party room. But i came down too thinking that the possibility that if its dropped by say, a fire giant and someone gets one, people will mock such a thing saying its not a real rare, as its drop asif some fire runes or a Rune scimitar would be. just doesn't feel very conventional and very dodgy too me. As for the drop party idea, i think it would be such an old school idea, i mean who didn't spend a partial part of their time as a level 63 in rune hanging out at Seers village (or falador for those who started in a later time era) seeing someone with a h'ween mask and spamming them too put it in, haha. but again i feel like the community would wisen up too such a thing and visit there every 12 hours, and how people, mainly stakers know how Pid works, not too mention latency difference between players and older PC's making it harder too pop balloons.

@Lance

I've been loyal then for 9 years I suppose. Alot of good and bad updates, but I stuck with runescape because it felt different from other games, had this spark to it.

EOC changed all of this, its a ghost town and most of the time I spend in the lobby to check if anyone is on, red friend list always.

EOC should have been called "END OF COMBAT" end of the line actually.

I just hope enough of the vets that quit for good are still interested and come back...

Listen most of your paying players don not want the eoc or the 2007 servers. we want pre eoc. 2012november was the prime of runescape. you said that its will be imposiable to do so. well you did it once so think again. WE WANT PRE EOC AND NOTHING LESS OR MORE. fix the game, have some respect for the long term players.

Jagex,

What you are doing is sure to bring a lot of players back.

Personally I don't see the reason why not to vote. We have nothing to lose but a lot to gain and this update is sure to make a lot of people happy. I think even if you don't want to play on the 2007 server you should still vote that way the people that want to can. Like said on the FAQs page. Your vote just goes toward the contribution. They're not forcing you to play if you don't want to.

I also have a few *****ions of my own.

1: Jagex mentioned that if we get 250,000 votes they might implement the anti-bot software on to the 2007 server. If we don't reach that 250,000 goal would there still be the possibility of putting the anti-bot software on the servers if needed?

2: With Jagex mentioning the possibility of implementing the anti-bot software on to the 2007 server and we all know that didn't exist back then would there be the possibility of giving us right click reporting to make things a little easier for us?

3: I'm ranked in a friends chat. Will I keep my rank in that chat on the 2007 server or will the owner of the chat have to give me my rank back?

4: Will this be before or after free trade and wilderness was terminated?

5: Will all our the friends we have added now carry over to the 2007 server or will we have to re-add them again?

6: Will all the players we have on our ignore list carry over to the 2007 server or will we have to re-add them again?

7: Will the items that are going to be included with the 2007 server start out at the price they were when released in game or will they be set at the price they were during that time?

8: Will old school holiday events be release during the holidays? Maybe some old holiday events that we had from back them.

9: If we are starting fresh. Does that mean we will be able to experience tutorial island again?

10: Will we have dedicated forums for these servers or will we use the existing ones for it?

More questions may come. :)

Fresh start means no holiday items transferred. Neither they should be given by lottery.

2007 copy isn't just "no EOC". It's balanced PvP system without any 1-hit-weapons such as ags or claws. There are Dark Bow, Piety and Torso but it's still better than nothing :)
