Alright I have been reading through some of the posts and I have been pretty.. amused I'd say.

Half the posts I have read were from non-members/members thinking that this is bullsh*t. This is a really good update. To the non-members. Have you even played '07scape. I joined in 2007 ( I have the chicken costume for proof :P ) and it was pretty amazing. So populated and fun. Easy to sell stuff. Yeah we have the Grand Exchange now, but that's no fun. I liked spamming the heck out of banks and World 2 Falador. Walk around Runescape right now. Is there banks full with people spamming trying to sell stuff? No. Too the members. I see that you do not want to support it? Why not? It is not going to affect the EoC Runescape in anyway. Vote to help out the Veteran players of Runescape and bring players back.

Honestly it may take a while with everyone starting out new, but thats how it should be. If everyone just dumped their accounts from the current came now into the new server, basically anyone with max stats will COMPLETELY dominate the game, and it would go to ruin. While I agree with you a new start will take a while to get rolling, its whats needed for a new server like this. To some people this will be a put-off and they will not play it, but I for one like this idea a lot and am looking forward to it

im assuming itll be like if a current player logs into classic, theyll have to make a new account just for that version of the game.. or a new character anyways.. or else how would the transition between versions work? no matter how much i like the "old school rs" i would never be making a new character. worked way to hard on my current on ive had since basically when rs2 was still new. also it just seems odd to even have a runescape 1 1/2 anyway lol what is this? a lion king movie?

I feel that it's great that they are listening to the community, but their logic is still very flawed by the way I see it.

The amount of votes required in comparison to how many people still even play, is pretty ludicrous. Obviously I don't know the exact amount of members at the moment, but I'm pretty sure, the people that enjoyed the game before the EoC, the people that enjoyed the game back then in 2007, have all left. You are making people resubscribe to vote or won't let them vote at all. The results of this vote are skewed. I realize that you were trying to avoid skewing that might of happened in the Wild/Free trade vote, but I think this is even a bigger difference. I honestly strongly believe that we have no chance of achieving any of these, and even if we get 50k, do you really expect people to pay that extra money? I could be wrong, but I think people will just want this to get rid of the EoC. If you charge that extra money you won't have many people.

I think people are hyping up too much and not looking at the reality. Sure, yeah, Jagex is listening! That rare occasion where they actually listen, but the conditions are still absurd. I've played Runescape for over 8 years, and I have never been near the line of permanently quitting. I may have taken breaks, one or two months at a time, but I was never near the line. The EoC pushed me over the line, even though I was so far from it. Now I'm sure there are many people that want these 2007, servers, but there are so many catches that it won't even matter. I mean, starting over? I'm sure a lot of us can say we just want Pre-Eoc. Note that this is all opinion but I feel like I am speaking for a good majority of the community. I'm just baffled at how ignorant you would have to be to not notice how many people hated the EoC in comparison to not. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places, but it would of had to be A LOT of wrong places. Because everywhere I went, everybody hated the EoC.
