runescape classic was fun and runescape2 is fun aswell i love them both its just
runescape2 has been spoiled by scammers doublers by the way people should get banned for doubling becuase the person who duped all party hats in runescape classic got banned so why is it fair for people to shout double when it comes to hats you ban them thats why i like rsc more there was more trust more respect runescape2 anything you have you have to hide from webhackers so yeah bring rsc back please i want peace again

I actually thought scammers always existed in this game, and I was free-to-play. I saw quite a bit of scamming and I was scammed by a "friend" years ago, when the whip was just released with Slayer. :\ It's the desperation for that virtual money and the fact that if they can do it without actually "playing" the game...they'll do it.
Look at all the people who ask for donations to save up for something? It's just another ploy for players to get free money by just standing around.
Also, on the scamming issue with doublers and whatnot, they made their stance clear on that. It's trust trading and it falls on the player for believing something too good to be true.

8 months to a year = reasonable amount of time with everyone starting from scratch for any decent levels, functioning economy, and ability to pk with more than a bronze sword
