The only reason they'd be making money off of what our current membership fees are is because we'd have more than enough people willing to play the 07 servers, therefore not much of an investment must be made by Jagex. The money we pay now will stay the same as long as we get enough votes, but if we don't get enough votes, the team(s) will be paid by those who fund the 07 servers rather than the members' fees themselves.

This doesn't take any money away from the 'live game' because all the membership fees get compiled and added to Jagex's revenue, which is then split among the workers and added to the treasury/investments that Jagex has.

"well why not put it back just before EOC and *** 2007 and dont punish us"

the reason is that they want to get back as many of the players that quit and the majority quit over things before the eoc, such as sof and such. thats where the game began to die. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.
