Ok it just occured to me what Jagex is doing.

For those people that love the idea of playing in yesteryear. Their goal is to get people to make 2nd accounts and they get you to pay for the 2nd Nostalic account paying $15/monthly fee while also maintaining your first account. Double whammie.

HELL YA im so happy they put it back the only thing i ask is to let us tranasfur our accounts because i thing it will be hard lvling up both acc but if we have to restart i guess thats fine another thing i ask is for you to bring back the ge because in 2007 there is no ge and i thing people will have a hard time getting items they need and selling items i know i did tey and bring it back so 2008 thx for reading time to go buy member ship.

@geni I have all 99s and have to start over.. and i'm not raging.. (though I won't fully quit this account I just won't do combat on it anymore) I'll do 2007 for combat. Restarting over won't be so bad. Think of it has starting a new pure. All my stats on the new servers will be under 20 most likely and combats will be 99s as that's the only reason for the 2007 servers for me.

I'm gonna laugh pretty hard when we don't get enough votes for this to work, and then everyone cries about how they have to pay more for the past.

Although I'll be laughing harder when I see all these people get membs and then realize that the server won't be around for another month or so and then realize they got scammed into getting a month for a game they don't wanna play because the EoC is too difficult for them.

Best part is that Jagex will get a nice chunk of money from people who want to play on old outdated gameplay and then get bored of it after a month of things being too hard without all the free EXP we get now.

I'm calling it now, the people who are looking so forward to it are going to realize how different it is from what they remember it being.

That's ok, I've got more bottles ready for their tears when they start complaining about how all the conveniences these days aren't around in 2007 that so many people are use too.

You have no reason not to. Just be nice to the people who do want to play, alright? The spam on the forums would be cut down and everyone will be way happier.

Glad to hear that their going to be bring back 07 servers, but starting afresh isnt for me.

Would Jagex consider making bonus xp permanent on the servers e.g. all exp x20. Starting again from scratch with the exp rates from 07... it would be months before armour and weapons would be available to all as the levels to get them would take for ever e.g. mining, smithing and combat/slayer for monster drops.

Account transfers are pointless because you trained your skills in the easier runescape anyway, you had chaotics and godswords to hand, not to mention ivy for woodcutting and bonfires for firemaking.
