My suggestion for rares:

If you still have the account information, distribute rares to those who had them in 2007. This is the only fair way to distribute them and it will automatically put in the right number of each rare. Please do not introduce fish masks or tree hats to keep the game old school. Please don't add skill capes.

at the start of the EoC I supported it.....then jagex kept making it worse and worse and worse. Now you NEED to CHEAT to be able to DO anything in it.......I mean not every is willing to spend what ever the max cash stack is on 1 set of gear, which happens to be the only gear strong enough to do ANYTHING with. Also everyone i have seen with that kind of in game money has many bot accounts to get it for them, or RWTed it. The current EoC is FAR FAR FAR worse then even RuneScape Classic was. and voting yes to this 'old school' runescape won't do any good because new players will see the !@#$ed up EoC first then base their first impressions on that piece of !@#$ and leave. and i think after 10+ years of playing runescape even when i was forced to play as F2P I DO NOT think runescape is a game worth my time anymore. partly because i WILL NOT, bot ,cheat, or scam my way to having enough GP to be able to pay the game, and since there is NO SKILL that can EARN GP with out being 99 in that skill why bother, because the way the game is currently in order to get 99 in any of those skill you need GP. there fore inorder to get 99 you need to break game rules to get the GP for that and if you have broken the rules to get 99 you won't then start following them to get money.

at present the game formally know as runescape, is more like ScamScape or CheatScape. and JaGeX is somthing like Just Another Greedy Evil eXcutive

Since nobody wants to start everything again, we could use the same account as we use in the EoC RuneScape, but if your in a place in EoC RuneScape which is not in 2007 RS you could be teleported to Lumbridge with a message, you could keep all your items, but the items from EoC RS not released in 2007 RS could be deleted from every player ONLY in that game. Example: Player logs in, game screen says to wait while your bot searches if you have any non-released items and delete them everytime you login. You would have the items again when you login in the EoC RS. Like that, nobody would need to start from level 3!

It would be nice if jagex made the 1st month of playing double xp or something to get players levels up so they can enjoy the old content sooner rather than later since it will be a total refresh Former RS3 Completionist, On the road to Max old school

Jagex: I could not be more disappointed about this, for if this vote was to pass and the 2007 servers were to be recreated, I fear that there will be barely anyone left on the current game as it is now.
I Love the current game and I love the Evolution of Combat, and all of the great weapon and armor graphical changes you've all done and I really think you've all done a great job at it so far.
With that said, 2007 RuneScape is a far, far downgraded version of what RuneScape is now and so I am not interested in playing it at all.
I am aware there will be dedicated servers for it, and so I am aware I can continue playing the way I wish to but I do not want to be in a "I Am Legend" situation just because of the 2007 servers.

I'm just concerned if there will be people for me to play with still if this votes goes through. -The Lord Crusader of The Holy Crusade

If you have the backup, then i assume you have the character files as well, why not just bring it back? People that have already trained (vets) should have access to their stats and not be treated like new players who started in 2k13. All the quests we completed, stats we trained should save. Most of the people are busy with work etc as they are now much older then they were than (6 years ago), so if you were 14, now you are 20. I am just saying if you expect it to be successful then this is the least you got to do




Do you really think they are going to waste that much extra hdd space to save our stats from one day to the next just in case they decided to at some date in the way far off future recreate an ancient version of the game? If that is so then let's talk, I have some properties you may be interested in buying ie; a bridge in Brooklyn and some ocean front properties in Arizona just to name a couple. They had saves of old versions of the game but with character saves they only keep the most recent ** save hdd space especially since people are logged in 24/7 from all over the world, how would they logically save character stats and especially from so far back. that is an extremely naive idea to think that they would have individual character stats from so far in the past.
