We all know the reason why the wildy is dead and it isn't because people just got up and left. Fact is the game has changed drastically since 2007, whether it was for the good or bad...pking isn't the same now a day's.

Also Runescape History says that it's player base was at an all time high in 2007, number's don't lie, throughout the years the game changed more and more...and many have left just as much. That's only my opinion on why the wildy is pretty much a ghost town now.

call me greedy all you want. the bottom line is rares give the game an ultimate purpose beyond levels and beyond quests.

the rares are what you go for after you completed everything else in the game.
so if we only get 50k votes the server is not going to be updated and the game will remain "limited"

so 2 years from now when you have completed all your goals. you will thank me that you have something else to keep you playing!

rather than be done and walk away leaving all those days behind.

I personally think that non members should be able to vote too. We non members also miss the old runescape and yet we don't get a chance to fight for what we want to achieve and let members vote only.

It was stated in the first post that voting is members only for Jagex to get an idea about how it will work out financially.

If Jagex had no issues with earning money at all, I am sure they would have no issues at all with going straight to Level 4 without a vote as soon as possible, but seeing as Jagex is a company that has to earn money to stay in business, they can not really give everything away.

Letting free players vote would not really give a good view of how economically feasible the idea is.
