I'm going to assume you weren't playing RS back then. We don't want the EOC. We hate it, this is the entire point of this community divide. We just want to play our game in peace without all these unnecessary changes. If you like EOC, at least you have the luxury of having it available to you, right now. Go and play it if you find it enjoyable. The version of Runescape I and many others find enjoyable is not available for me to play.. yet.

Starting over has it's strengths!

1. 99 combats will be epic again! So many people have all 99 combats these days

2.Gear will mean something! Imagine in 2 months seeing a guy with full dharoks fire cape and whip it will actually be pro again.. if we didn't restart sooooo many people would have dharoks whip and fire cape in 2 days.. it will get boring quick that way.

3. Money will actually be worth way more like it was back in 2007. Getting items like barrows from the mini game will be worth soo much and worth doing for example. Imagine if we didn't restart.. all that barrows gear would flood the game becoming useless soon after.

Just a question too all those who are asking and wanting too keep their stats on the 07 server - Would an experience modifier (say, you receive 3x as much experience) be a solution? just a possible solution if Jagex are stuck realizing how many people want their old stats/are worried about how slow the game will be.

i honestly don't want this, if enough people play on these servers, honestly that is what the game will become, no one will play eoc becuase honestly i think more people actually think that the majority of players want 2007 scape.

i do not want the current game to die and i think the 2007 scapers should be restricted to around 10 servers or 20k people playing at one time. this will stop it being more popular than the current game.

i do not want to start again an hopefully this will put alot of people off. i have worked for 4 years on my account and i don't want the current game to die. 2595 RS3 Efficiency Experts

And what? I don't want a bunch of people who don't even support the game! even games without membership have ways to make people buy things! in order to adv on wards.

I'm fed up with people thinking free players count too? They are running off our money/ads. when i started i play for a little wile then i brought membership. alot of free players are botters. And people make number of accounts up over there life time and can spam vote.

you dont lose your stats you keep them with runescape. this is a new runescape its the old runescape completly non related. keep playing eoc if you care for your stats so much, and as for years of hard work? you sat infront of a screen doing nothing but click. it wasn't hard. as for the rest of us we are starting fresh and building this game up from the ground.
