Oh. My Gawshgod. Please please please tell me that the God Letters would be continued again because 2007 was before contact stopped. Also the longswords back then looked awesome and the game was brilliant. I joined RS earlier that year so this is really exciting for me! 2007 was probably one of the best years ever. Merch'ing was possible and so on. And a clean start?!?! That paves the way for wannabe Zezimas and S U O M Is and so on. What's happening with Pmods?

I wish everybody would stop whining about their rares and realize that THEY WOULD STILL OWN THEM IN THE LIVE GAME!

Why bring anything into the new servers? Let it be a fresh start for everybody and give new people a chance to get on top of the ladder and earn their place in the new highscores. I think it will be fun :)

i like they have heard the players word, but i really am dissapointed that we have to start 'fresh' again, i've build this account all up and now i've to do it all over again, not intrested in doing it over again,

Tbh I was expecting something else, like when u go to homepage there will be a big "play now" button and when u click on it a window would pop up and we could either chose "2007 oldschool server" "2009 oldschool server" and "main game" cuz not everyone wants a 2007 server but thanks anyways!

I would prefer not to see them as well, however I realize that they may be a necessary part of the game. By necessary, I mean the game may not succeed without them. Rares are an integral part of staking. Because max cash is only ~2.147B rares are used as currency.

Also I think rares prices can be controlled using the method from my previous post. I stated this alternate idea from the original poster because if there is only a limited number of rares ever sold the prices will be out of control instantly. My method of implementing rares, if any should be done, is by far the best, as proven in the past.

Great Idea. I feel that will give some of the newer Runescape members a sense of excitement comparable to my nostalgia at a 2007 server, and hopefully aid in the votes :P .

I loved 2007 Runescape and I'd glady pay for a months membership to vote. What I dont get is all these people complaining about it. I honestly dont care if you vote or not but is there really a reason not to? Alot of current players are referring to "EoC haters" as whining little brats. Seems to me you're doing the same thing by whining about '07 servers. There's no reason why anyone should not vote unless they're the type of people who dont like seeing other people happy.

I don't know how many people will be as excited as me about this, but I do know when i saw this on the front page I almost cried in joy. Not only was it because I miss the old days of runescape when you could player kill without being 1 hit.. nor is it because I miss dueling before it was ruined with dungeoneering.

The reason I was crying tears of joy is because I saw the soul of the company JaGeX that I have been missing so long!!! This company used to make me feel love and feelings and excitement. This is beyond expression and I want to thank you JaGeX for caring about your community and all of your long time players that miss the game that they used to play.

You will succeed beyond measure and will have the love of your community again for this*****;3333333
