I'm in full support of this. A lot of people seem really picky about the exact date, but I'm completely fine with August 10th 2007. I'll miss the Grand Exchange, but it's possible that'll be added later. Some people are also mad about starting fresh, but I personally LOVE that idea. Everybody gets to start on an equal playing field. Like a brand new skill, only nobody has an advantage with their other skills. I just became a member again after not playing for *** months so that I could participate in the vote and participate in the full release when it comes out.

Besides being excited to vote for the return of scape 2007, I do hope once jagex sees how many players transfer to the old game, they realize the error of their ways.

Another point I would like to make, is the fact that things such as solomons general store, and squeal of fortune will thankfully be gone in the old game. These items make jagex look like they care more about money than the integrity of their game.

@Worship Squee, i think You forgot to wear your contacts or spectacles, they said they will get another staff for it, and people who want to play, will pay for it, in some cases or maybe not, but in any case you didn't read the whole post, so read everything before you comment, and anyways 'Your' eoc might get affected by it, mine aint getting affected by voting yes, so i Vote a big YES, the thing is this world doesn't revolve around the words like 'me', 'i', 'mine', 'my'... etc. so go sit in a corner and read the whole post again and then edit your comment and put in a good reason for your no :P ^^

Let the vets play whatever they want. Personally I played 2007 and loved it. I hate the game we have now. Congrats on starting to play 2 years later than me, I've been playing since 2004 and I, for one enjoy these newcoming changes, I don't like the EoC all that much either
but I'm confident it will only get better.

I feel as if during the course of the vote you should release a single or a series of videos representing how 2007 runescape was really like; from old areas like tutorial island (greatest place in the world of Gielinor) to the graphics of the old hitsplats and much much more! A lot of people may know what 2007 runescape consisted of, but I bet even more don't, for example someone has posted about old one boated pest control, however the 10 August 2007 was one month after the pest control minigame got nerfed. So I think a series of videos would be able to clear a lot up and at the end of the day also get peoples nostalgic juices flowing ready to vote! ;3

A lot of great things were around during and before 2007 and a lot of things afterwards. I am in great support of this update and I believe that it can be done with no impact to the current game community, I believe people shouldn't worry about the splitting of the community because in my opinion the community can only get better!

As for rares, it's a real tuff cookie to crack. It will be difficult to implement not just tradable rares, but also the nontradable ones that everyone could get. I for one wouldn't like to see everyone going around with bunny ears and scythes, but at the end of the day I do think the only fair way of reimplementing them is to re-do the events. I didn't start runescape in classic, so for me, watching the economy grow is going to be interesting. At the end of the day I just wish rares wont be taken lightly.

Also I think free to play players who had been members all the way up to the EoC update for 7 (7 because 5 is too little and 10 is too much, and 7 is fitting for 200"7" ^^) or more years

I SAID "BEFORE LOG IN SCREEN" YOU STILL GET THE RS2 LOG IN AFTER YOU SELECT IT!
