According to Mod MMG's post on page 1, this is what I gather:


If we reach 750,000 votes or more and Jagex knows the community really wants this, then the 2007 servers will be included in standard membership packages with NO ADDITIONAL FEES!

This is really great news and I encourage everybody to tell their friends, whether they play RuneScape currently or not, and try to convince them to vote.

THE MORE PEOPLE WHO VOTE, THE MORE IT BENEFITS US ALL!

...well they are certainly making it easy. To balls with it I was initially on the fence but this is amazing. Also on the subject of discontinued rares, take a quick census on the amount of discontinued rares in the game, cut the number in half, and release them to feats of strength achievers. First 5 people to get a quest cape or first 5 who kill Jad. BUT, this method of rewarding will require close monitoring to make sure nobody is botting.

If your sick of all these nostalgic players clogging the forums with the rants and pre eoc pleas, give them a 2007 server. Will make the forums functional again. It won't take from our good old EOC development, all they have to do is host the server.

some of you eoc guys are ok, but a lot of you are trolling, and with that i say OMG I CANNOT WAIT TO SPLIT THIS COMMUNITY AND GET THE HELL AWAY FROM YOU GUYS.

i seriously cant wait im paying just to vote i dont care what people say about money jagex needs to know that people are really into this, if youre willing to pay JUST TO VOTE they will see that this is a good investment for them!

I've been reading thru some posts and have noticed some people mention how time played is a logged stat and that it should be used to allow veteran players to vote even if they are F2P.

I think this is an amazing idea and perfectly reasonable. This is the target audience, no? I'm pretty sure I have over 100 days played...my loyalty should be VIVIDLY evident. Please take this into consideration.

On the topic of rares, I could care less about such trivial ventures...if people really want them, have them as an extremely rare drop during holiday events or something.

That argument is pretty dum. They said they will create a whole new development team apart from the current one just for this. How the hell does this affect you 2012 runescape newbies. Let the vets play whatever they want. Personally I played 2007 and loved it. I hate the game we have now. All you dum people complaining because you like EoC I say let me play my game, the rs I love, and you go play your own sht EoC version of it ;)

Simple Idea bare with me,

after the client loads, and before you log in your given 3 options of which game you would like to play

Option 1: Runescape (Classic)

Option 2: Runescape 2K7(if tomorrows polls go well)
(return of tutorial island and, Pre-G.E. & major Graphics update)

Option 3: Runescape 3 (Current version)
