@"100 Yellow Phat's - Store Price - 500m
100 Red Phat's - Store Price - 500m
100 Blue Phat's - Store Price -500m
100 White Phat's - Store Price - 500m

250 Santa Hat's - Store Price - 150m
250 Red Halloween Masks - Store Price - 150m
250 Green Halloween Masks - Store Price - 150m
250 Blue Halloween Masks - Store Price - 150m

Once player's earn enough GP to buy said Rare they want from the store, they can and the stock will drop and drop until there is none left to buy and once that happens these items will be classed as "Rare". And the price will start to rise above the starting price that was the store price.

So it'll be based on who works the hardest to obtain the money required to buy said Rare item and that's why I think it would be fair and give players a goal to work towards on the server."

Actually if you just leave an infinite amount of rares in the shop the price of rares will drop a bit below the shop price, making it useless to introduce new rares (buying them) into the game. I have seen this work on a private server. The items remain rare because no new ones will be coming into the game, and a stable, high price because if street price goes over the shop price you could just buy out of the shop. Works flawlessly on private servers.

Share this so JaGeX can see it.

"What part of they're going to higher a new development team that updates the game do you not understand? EOC will obviously have a larger amount of resources dedicated to it, why ***** up an opportunity for players who dislike the EOC to have a reason to play again?"

They said that either way some of the developpement time will be carried over to the other, what part of that do YOU not get?

Just a quick idea, since everyone will be starting from lvl 3 how about a double exp period for say 1 week or even 1.5xexp this will give people that bit of motivation to jump in and get started.

I myself don't mind starting from scratch it will be fun but being able to tear through the low lvls like 1-40 would make it more fun.

I am so over excited about this!

I would love to have a fresh challenge on a functioning '07 server, starting a character from scratch with the main purpose in mind of PK'ing and reliving my glory days in the wilderness.

While also having the option to play my nearly maxed character on the EOC version of the game, to enjoy new updates and finish obtaining the completionist cape!

*poops pants in joy*

This will be my last post on this thread, since people forget Runescape's history.

My personal fearless forecast:

Just count 6-months, and those very same people pushing for this 2007 server will be the very ones that shall abandon it. Runescape 2007 flavor will be nothing but Runescape Classic 2.0, and its playerbase will shrink to the same number of players playing RSC today.

We have living memory of this, since 6-months after the re-introduction of the wildy pk after earning millions of votes - the very same people that voted for it were absent from the wildy (pre-eoc wildy) after 6 months.

*end of statement*

I would pay $20 a month if it meant that I could use my old account. If I cant use my current account I wont even become a member because of the amount of time that is necessary to create an account. The majority of players that will want to play 2007 have played 2007 therefore they are older usually 17-early twenties and do not have the amount of time that we had when we were younger. I believe that this decision to not use our old accounts isolates the individuals which would play the 2007 version.

I agree, I'm in my early 20's and don't have the time. I'd most likely get the month trial and that would be it.

good point hborn. maybe they could fix that if its absolutly impossible to start us out with the accounts we had at the time..they should just make it so that only people who actually played during that time can start off and then a few months later the newer players would have access to the already stable game.
