For the people that are complaining that the EOC updates would fall due to the investment in time to the Old game and that they will lose out, are not thinking about one vital thing.

If more people are paying membership for the old game, which requires a lot less maintenance, then there are more funds available to Jagex to support further update into the current version. Even if they did do a bit of maintenance every now and again, they could hire more staff as their income is greater!

Also, I like the EOC, but I prefer the game 'back in the old days' as it was harder and more of a challenge. Nowadays' I can just use abilities to kill monsters 3x quicker than I used to be able to.

The 750k mark should not put people off, there is a lot of support and even those who don't want to play should vote as they will gain benefits from the extra income Jagex would receive!

Simple Idea bare with me,

after the client loads, and before you log in your given 3 options of which game you would like to play

Option 1: Runescape (Classic)
Option 2: Runescape 2K7(if tomorrows polls go well/Pre-G.E. & major Graphics update)
Option 3: Runescape 3 (Current version)

most people who have the hats was given them either by players who quit or players who bankrolled by botting...

grow up and deal with the fact that no one will have a leg up on any other player except through hard work...

Seems like a great so***ion.
If rares are added, it'll probably create botting/goldfarming/real world trading problems.

In the case of rares, I definitely don't agree with rares being transferred between servers. Giving people an unfair starting advantage is a terrible idea. Richness in 2013 shouldn't buy richness in 2007 if we're all starting with a clean slate.

Wow just thought about some prices somebody said black cavalier will be then 250k
but its wrong it will be more than 250m and rune scimitar would be very expensive because people wont get these things for free at start the game would have 0 gp and people should start earning it again and it would be impressive to see somebody with rune items.
And i want to know what will happen with party hats and christmas crackers and other rare things what wouldnt exist.
will they be added as drops for limited time?
please answer.

i get it it's still about money:]]]]........ you see you have 61k ppl playing so u make it 50k votes for 23dollars a month usa money because u know there will not be 250k because there not that many people playing. 50k votes to 250k troll Why not 100k
