So Jagex finally admits that they went about EoC in the wrong way? Wow never thought I'd see the day. It is a step toward realizing that EoC won't work for the future
I outlined in an EoC thread exactly how Jagex can accomplish the multi-version scenario with parallel games (pre-EoC and post-EoC). The quick-find code to that post is 15-16-137-64097857. The solution starts on page 1390.
After checking the thread has been removed by Jagex. I did keep a copy of it just in case a cheap-shot move like that happened (as I suspected it would).
If you would like, I can repost it in another thread so as not to hijack this one.
@10hp
Well, you know what your talking about. Finally someone who sees Jagex is working on the bot/gold farmer problems. It takes a long time to remove crime, and yes, bots/gold farmers are criminals. Gold farmers are actual criminals, they are committing copyright infringement.
On another note.. this message was a method of desperation from Jagex.. They're loosing customers so they're trying to show a more "passionate side" which has definitely been lacking oh I'd say.. for the past 13 years?. Too little too late Jagex, you should have realized this a long time ago.
I wasn't particulary happy with all the updates from past year (2012).
I hope you will fix and update better in 2013.
To start ==> we are still waiting for F2P hiscores to come back!!
Also cockroach soldiers should be fixed (weak monsters, bad xp, same drops).
I don't like the way skills are being ruined by making them afk'able.
Anyway, i hope the Jagex team will put theirselves together and make runescape back a better place for real gamers (who really plays to achieve stuff).
There's something that needs to be done for in game gambling that's for sure, like over 60% of the community and I think that gambling hosts are given an unfair advantage towards making money, i mean they just stand there and type...plant mithril seeds and make about 50m gp every hour.
