As a seven year veteran (mostly free-to-play, granted), I'm pleased to hear that Jagex is willing to allow veteran accomplishments to remain relevant. I'm a traditionalist, and over the past year I, admittedly, have been very upset and critical of Jagex. I'm familiar with the corporate world, and I know that you people at Jagex sleep in your office, can work eighteen hours a day (or more), and sometimes don't even go home for nearly a month. If there's one thing that I have learned, it is that change is a natural part of life, and I'm accepting of that. All of us (players and Jagex employees) have just emerged from what is propibally the most turbulent year in the history of the game. 2013 is a chance for a fresh start. It's a chance to rebuild bridges between Jagex and hurt players, and players who do and don't support Jagex's decisions. I'm exctied to see what this year holds. I have my yearly objectives finalized, my bank stocked, mage robes ironed, armor polished, and bloodpouncer groomed. This is going to be an exciting year, and I can't wait to see what it holds.
