If you're old school, then I must be a noob, because i think one of the main reasons RS was popular was because it was UPDATED so often. I'm not saying that was the only reason, but it was a great part of the game. People didn't want a game that stays the same. This isn't world of warcraft, you're f2p and you can still play can't you? RS changes. That is a central point of RS. Not "old school" graphics, less skills, less quests, etc.

The only big update I've heard of that involves free players in 2013 is the new skill, which from what's been said will be more or less pointless without the second skill (ftp = gathering skill, members = making stuff from whatever materials you've just gathered with the other skill.)

Zarosiannuke, I'm not a pure but can't help LOL at that.
Firstly, most pures had mains who did all the skilling, questing etc etc.

They find PK'ing enjoyable so they create an account designed for PK'ing. Get the skill levels they need, do whatever quests they need they play the part of the game they ENJOY.

Please remove gambling and free trade from Runescape. Gambling promotes addictions and leads people who loose their money to buy gold from websites and tempts winners to sell their billions of gold to websites. Free trade needs to go. It would solve many problems and would reduce the amount of rule breaking considerably. Scamming would be minute. Trust trades would be forever gone. And most of all, Runescape would be played how it was supposed to be played. It isn't a poker site. They will still play Runescape. You will win more subscribers from players that are consistently leaving.

That is what we want.

Pures do ruin this game. They don't play it at all. Playing a game means actually taking part. Pures do not take part in 100% of RS, they don't even participate in 50%, tell me, should a company listen to people complaining about its product, even though said people never used it?
