None of this is going to matter in the end. What we're doing here is attempting to save a dying game. A game which we have no control or influence towards.

These days I find myself going over various MMORPGs, seeing if there is any sticking out. So far, I've **me up short.

I'm going to make one final farewell topic of my own in the coming month, then bail out for good. We've been poking ribs the past few years and it really hasn't gotten us anyplace.

This ^ is out of line (and simply not true).

You are, first of all, suggesting that anyone who doesn't agree with you is a 12 year old who just started a year or 2 ago*

***; See that reindeer hat? That's a reward from 2006, so clearly I didn't start 1-2 years ago. I'm also not a 12 year old (I have grandkids that age range).. and.. I don't agree with you or the way you've chosen to rant about the issue.

I loathe MMG, but he can't "hire the gowers back" because Andrew sold his own shares in the company (and last I knew Paul still worked for jagex).

If a forum mod doesn't say why a post was hidden, it would mean Jagex staff have been reading the forum. So its good to know they are aware of all the feedback coming from lost customers and current unhappy ones.
Its a shame there are no positives from recent updates like EoC.

It may be possibile that postings like the one you denounced are submitted to provoke a response from the Jmod who originated this thread since no response, reply, or comment has been made for many, many pages. This non-reply stance by Jmods is counter to what MMG stated in his initial thread that communication is something they were definitely going to improve on.

I do not disagree with the message conveyed, and have no doubts that the ulterior motive (if you will) was to elicit a response from jagex.

I disagree with the method used.

Certainly this individual got a "response".. but what really was accomplished? I see no gold post in response.

I'm not disagreeing that the CEO (jagex in general as well), needs to be more noticeable (sp?) in their forums.

I'm not disagreeing that there are issues that should be addressed.. and addressed promptly.

All I'm saying is that there is less likelihood of seeing a response, when the posts reflect nothing but ranting accusations and insults.

Overall, we are a mature player base.. but you sure couldn't tell it with some of the posting about this issue.

There is a huge difference in harsh words (when they reflect the truth), and simple ranting and insults.

I've been playing runescape since 2005, literally the first time i played runescape was the day the rubber chickens were released. I love this game, its been one of the most consistent things in my life but lately i've found myself really unable to play this game. I feel like every time that i play the stats on my armor are changed, another piece of my armor becomes useless (both my cls) or in general i found that i lost a ton of money because a set of my armor became pathetically broken (Dharok) .The thing is that this game is becoming repetitive and i believe that the eoc is causing the death of this game. RUNESCAPE WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A TYPICAL MMO. If i wanted to play warcraft i would be playing warcraft right now!, If i wanted to be playing Dragon Nest i would be playing Dragon nest. I can go on listing all the MMOs that ive tried and i can honestly say that i want to play runescape but the shape its in right now is pathetic. The truth is that i won't be renewing my membership once it runs out the, the EoC is a failed piece of content. Jagex it's been a blast, but until you listen to your community or we're through
