I love Runescape and believe one of the biggest problems that is faced is the fact that they don't advertise enough. I live in the USA and I never see commercials or ads for ruenscape. If you ever have extra money (which is difficult for a company such as Jagex) try more advertising, it gets more players, therefore more money.
Also I've been looking forward to 2013 updates since you first announced your plans in December.
I think this news post helps a lot in regards to physically telling the players exactly what's going on and what will be done. I think that more of this player-staff interaction via news posts and being completely honest as you just were is key to restoring this great community. I really like what I'm seeing.
As I have replied to you previously. If limited trade would ever be back in place; it does NOT mean it has to be like the one in 2008. There is a massive place for improvement.

With regards to my first post (Pg 1) Is there any plans to prioritise the Account Recovery situation?
I know it's a huge issue and you guys do take it seriously but I feel like there should be more staff in that team to clear the backlog and keep things flowing so that players will get back in-game more swiftly.
No doubt the wait is very very painful, I've seen posts and friends that are very upset. Especially when their accounts were compromised and then used to break rules, that must be the most painful part.
Will security ever be made more apparent? We know more and more people are getting online, using their computers and putting in personal details such as logging into RS + Emails.I think it would be a very good idea to make people aware that there is many more ways to loose control of a system than just viruses.
I know you have suggestions on how to remove viruses and what software to use but time has moved on, they now have more sophistication, intelligence and determination. I mean, the Java exploit, that could have caused major damage.
I've always been skeptic on security, I don't download anything on this system I regularly check manually to make sure I've done everything I can to secure this laptop and give it the best security possible.
I strongly believe these should be made more apparent, the risks will only get worse. If these people find an opportunity they will take it and there's no denying it will leave damage.
I'm not just talking about RS accounts either, I'm speaking in general every day use too. JAG was a great invention but that can be removed if players aren't careful with their details.
Thanks for reading, I hope it's taken seriously. It has been on my mind quite a bit recently.
