WELL RUNESCAPE IS MY ALL TIME FAV GAME BETTER THAN COD AND WOW AND ALL THE REST BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I GREW UP WITH IT AND MY SIBLINGS PLAYED IT BEFORE ME I WANT TO GO BACK TO THE PAST WERE RUNE ARMOUR REQUIRED 40 DEF, PURES WERE THRIVING IN THE WILDERNESS AND PEOPLE WERE NICER.....NOT GRUMPY AS MOST PEOPLE ARE TODAY, NOT ONLY THAT I WANT TO GO BACK TO THE DAYS WERE I CAN SPEC WITH MY GMAUL AND SWITCH TO MY CLAWS FOR THE EPIC COMBO =P . :) PLZ GIVE ME A REPLY

i know that eoc aint going anywhere so can u guys atleast lower the def of slayer monsters? some of them take ages to kill now :/ also buff armour like battows and bandos cuz atm the rangers and magers on boe quest kill me in 4-6 hits with deflect curses on

This game is dead. I'm getting my completionists cape and logging out.
Back in the day, the game revolved around training up and going into the wilderness and fighting.
Now, we just stand around the Grand Exchange and flip items and play hot/cold.

There used to be a certain feeling I would get when I got on this game. It was a self satisfied feeling of accomplishment, every time I logged out. I felt a little more proud of my account. I haven't had that feeling again since 2007.

Now, if I am some twelve year old kid, with rich parents, I can buy a bunch of spins on the squeal and catch up to where all of the elite scapers are. Its an unfair advantage to the game. This is known as Real World Item training and Jagex is now endorsing it.

I am around 42 levels from completionists cape, 29 of those being dungeoneering. Almost 400 million total exp I have slaved.

I would trade every last gold piece, and every experience point I ever earned. Just to start over again in 2004.

All of the old runescape community feels this way. Very few even enjoy this game anymore.

Saying that you are listening to us is basically spitting in our faces.

I am almost thankful for SOF now, its speeding up my process to quitting this game entirely. discord.gg/umcc

Ok Jagex, I’ve been playing this game for years and I would like to point out something that I think you all may be over looking. Less is sometimes more! There are so many changes in this game now that I find myself overwhelmed on what to do or where to start. The new Player Ports, really… I went through the tutorial, I’m lost, not fun! The Brink of Extinction quest, I’m almost combat maxed and I can’t even hurt the Ranger in the Boss fight. NOT FUN. I was excited with the release of EOC, but there are so many other changes you’ve released alongside this release I’m losing interest in the entire game. I’d suggest slowing down and coming out with better tutorials.
One other thing I don’t understand is why you don’t calculate the players combat level based on the 7 skills that train it. The total max should be 693 not 200. You should add Constitution, Att, Str, Def, Magic, Range, and Slayer. Adding the player’s level for these skills would give a much clearer view of the player combat skills.
