@RevSlay FK I understand that, but lots f people get bored and want something different. Pures were a good way to fill that void. It's a different tactic to use. And who said this had to be like every other game where defense was a must. The option was there and people enjoyed it. Why do you think this game had so many consistent players. Because you had options and versatility on your character. Pure fighting did take skill, I'm assuming you never had one. And yes, you don't have to train it still, but it's completely useless to not train it now. It used to be a big challenge especially with combat skills to get them to 99. Nothing was bad about pures

I know you guys can't read all the messages so me and my sister made a tally as we read through the comments (we read around 100 pages). None of this is ours (or our ideas) just what other players have said.

Removal of EOC: 58
Different servers for non EOC: 74
More report options: 19 (more detailed as to what macroing is etc..)
Better Pmods: 26 (some have found them to be rude/abuse powers)
Personalization: 12 (things like nose, eyes, height)
More quests: 16
Getting rid of bots: 71
Getting rid of Sof: 48
Getting rid of SGS: 40
Armour prices/ge crash: 19 (annoyed because they spent millions on stuff now worth little)
Gold farming: 23
Getting rid of lurers/scammers: 17
Get pking back: 14
Getting rid of gambling: 82
Dealing with bugs/glitches: 16
Getting rid of multi-combat: 17 (makes it difficult for a lot of players to get xp/drops)
Specials back: 17
Random events (instead of D&D): 28
Friends/clan: 39 (many annoyed that their friends left because of updates)
Loss of faith in Jagex: 58
Customer support & Communication: 41

But people are pleased with things so far and looking forward to desert tasks, new skills and many are enjoying POP. Still a lot of f2p players annoyed with being removed from highscores. Again, these are not me or my sisters ideas, these are from other players. +1 this to get it seen. :)

Eoc is that different and brings back the challenge to combat once more.

Pures skill can be made and are even harder yet to master , but it still can be done.This of course depends on your knowledge of the game and the use of all the items available.

Okay i have some questions.
First. When will bank boosters be added to loyalty shop? I have been saving up points for those for a while...
Second. Why isnt there an in-game way to earn sgs coins?
Third. When is the new gathering skill relased?
And last its more of an opinion but things like different home teleport animations should rather be quest reward not some rich kids way to show off how he spends his parents money.

You are making 2 major and clear mistakes here.

1. The players that "used" to play, still come back and check often. They are more than willing to play the runescape that they loved in put years of work into.

If you've read other forums... or even chatted with alot of players online you'd realize this quite EASILY from veteran players. (which just so happens to be the financial backbone that went into the de-construction of their loved game).

To say they do not have a voice is very short sighted and clearly incorrect... as they come back quite often just to check. I am Another example of that happening and I've already read OTHER Examples of the same case on This forum thread.

2. You are taking your personal response and applying to others around, because some of them have a Similiar opinion, and some have the same.

Let my contrast to your character be proof that not everyone feels and breeds the same internal feelings as you.

I've never felt as if someone was either being or getting the feelings of being "superior" to me based on a pk.

LET Alone a pk, where I was questing and therefor not properly geared to fight (as this would be an even larger leap).

This is a problem, and I use the word "problem" cautiously: I don't know the root of your personal perception grinding you this way. I do know that it is not a healthy way of looking at things, either in a game or in real life and I hope that you will be able to identify, for yourself, the root of that tendency.

For argument's sake, both loss and "superiority" can JUST As easily be applied with skilling. As the other players are "better" than you (merely meaning higher lvl) and TAKING what you want, have come to get and spent your time trying to get.

Your point is valid, but look at what was taken away from the pures. Iron for gods sake. Infinity was raised, quests dr better equipment involved some sort of defense or a reward of such. A lot of things give so much more advantage to defense that a pure is nearly useless. They used to stand a chance but some idiot can come out in the wild and destroy a skilled pure now. And look at how the combat level is calculated now. It's based off of defense. Everything seems like its in an effort to extinct the pure community.

Actually Ace, you're starting off there with a grave misconcept.

EOC is not hard at all to master.

about 95% of the other MMORPGs out there (not browser based) have been using this play style... eliminating your 2nd point there.

This is actually quite bland and very common. EOC is almost an attempt to play 'catch up' with other MMORPGs... which leads to several problems and disagreances.

There are other games, completely F2P that have started and continue EOC style of combat. There are ALOT of runescape players that have yet to realize this, *** this is ever increasingly diminishing as players are no longer that happy with RS.

I understand that you are making half true points though, and I too anticipated and welcomed the change.. only after mastering EOC I then reflected with the knowledge of both. I'm still disappointed as well as the Majority of RS players that have yet to return to playing.

This is the detailed information that is needed to help find a balance in the system.

The better your detail is on this aspect , then the better Jagex and the staff can look at it and see if there is other options to look at.

The best updates and fixes make the players 50-50 happy and unhappy. It is uncommon to have a better % agree on any changes.

YOU GUYS ARE RESOLVING THE WRONG AREAS OF THE GAME

FIX THE FREAKING GLITCHES OF DEFENCELESS VOID AND FIX THE NURFED EVERYTHING. YOU ALWAYS LEAN TO HARD ON ONE SIDE OF COMBAT SO MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON IT BECAUSE ITS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING

There have been multiple complaints to several j mods of obvious bots where no action was taken not even muting. Youtube search it.

also, you dont need to constantly add crappy content that will be forgotten by tomorrow take the time to make the game more entertaining and less about exp grinding.

people dont have house parties people only get 99 con for max cape and use alters to train prayer.

this game went from fun to exp grinding.

only way to resolve this is make mini games more rewarding and skills more fun and player active King Cain Jr
