Fine, it was a post where you finally admit your faults. It was an 'apology' of some sorts, for treating your players the way you have over the past, I'd say four years. But at the end of the day it's just fancy words put on the main page by someone that claims to be the head of the company.

I was forum banned for stating my opinion about EoC - about it being completely rushed and you not getting the CORRECT and ACCURATE feedback from your players. As I've said, the "survey" you introduced in the Beta was mostly biased. With the promise of an Exp gift at the end, surely you didn't expect people to thoughtfully or truthfully answer your questions? A poll could have been done, as it was done for the re-release of the Wilderness and Free Trade. Even if the overall vote was "no", you could have spent all of the money you used on EoC and EoC's Beta to better the game in other ways.

My opinion on EoC is the same. It's a rundown version of WoW. It was rushed, it is plagued with bugs, and the combat system you claim to have "fixed" is entirely out of whack. I highly dislike the format, but I am, of course, forced to adapt. After spending nearly 8 years playing this game, I'm not about to quit and put everything I worked for - and paid for - to waste without completing my goals. However, many friends did not share the same opinion. I went from a friends list of 80 close friends I've met over the years, to a list of 15. Out of those 15, maybe 8 of them actually log on to play and ENJOY the game. Many of these people were close to a Maxed/Completionist cape, or already had reached that goal. It's a shame, really.

There's a number of things I could complain about, but I highly doubt you or your mods (who I could complain about for weeks and weeks about their poor costumer service, etc.) will be reading this post anyway. Thank you for the post, but I'd like to see you fix all of your mistakes before I actually take you seriously.

In addition to the idea of making J Mods more visible on the forums, I'd also like to see the implementation of the ability to see or be notified when another player has responded to you. I know that there is a "Reply" option but for big threads that may gain tens of comments every minute, it's hard to keep back tracking to look for a specific name that may have replied to you.

Perhaps add a feature where if another player uses the "@" symbol, followed by the targeted player's (accurate) username, it would notify the target player in the profile settings or what not. It would be great to see if this could be automatically added into the forums, where it doesn't make the player manually type in "@____".

I see all that fancy stuff some of the CM Jmods have... ;)

Since it's OUR year, thanks for your time and consideration for reading this post.

EDIT: Completely spelled your name wrong, Drebin. O_o . This is why we should have an automatic reply option! I can't remember a 12 character long name, let alone yours... :(

@RevSlaya FK lol i can guarantee i wont, i stick to my word and as i said I'm thoroughly enjoying it and the staff there do listen to what the players want, its not just empty words. and why is it when someone states their opinion, which is opposed to your its RAGING, sooo funny that people like yourself can think of no valid thing to say other than your raging, lmao.

I know I have been complaining very bitterly about the micro-payments and recently EoC (although I did like EoC at first). I actually cancelled membership partially because EoC was making many quests impossible, although it was also partially because I thought I was spending more time than I could afford on Runescape. However, I still play because there are still good aspects to the game. I am glad that you are admitting your failures as well as celebrating your successes. There was some great content released, although micro-payments overshadowed them at times.

In regards to the micro-payments, often there was frustration over the fact that it was so connected to new content that it seemed like the content was planned to fit the micro-payment (and/or a personality quiz). It may help to remove the micro-payment stuff from the content so it doesn't seem to invade.

Otherwise, although I am still skeptical, I hope that you will act on your words to make an even better game.

In a dream world, Jagex would TODAY reinstate Runescape2. Then they would let all the paying beta testers make EOC truly awesome. So awesome all the Runescape2 players would want to flock to EOC.

Then and only then could they retire Runescape2

Sadly it's the real world and just read a bunch of words with MMG's signature on them. We are all to the point where we want to read about it after the fact. Do something positive, do it well, then after the community goes "Very Nice" pat yourself on the back.

We will be watching!

I don't really think we can compare player count these days as most of them are bots, maybe players have left and Jagex bot strategies r being implemented. Before delving in to the situation its nice to identify the problem then look at a way of just fixing it.

The EOC has acturly made me want to train combat so in my eyes its a success, although in dung I cant justify the xp rates. lvl lesser demon gives 3.2k xp but a lvl 198 zombie gives 64xp. What happened there?

not raging trying to get it through to staff at jagex who are so stupid they cant see what they have done to the game i loved for so many years, if its so wonderful go play it instead of saying people are raging when they are stating facts.
