I'm happy to see this being posted a day after I sent in a screenie to your Facebook page.
I feel much more optimistic about playing now and progressing further into my account.
Surprising how even a little response can generate so much happiness within the community isn't it?
Very assuring thought that we know you're trying. I always liked you Mark as CEO since you first started. I saw a lot of potential, sure you have had a few bumps here and there but I know you will find ways around them. I wasn't very fond how Andrew kept so many secrets, at least when you post you gives us "The Players" some ***wers to many unanswered questions. Personally I wish a lot of this community would see the huge difference in how things are and how things were.
I think a lot of the EOC change makes the community feel as we in the Classic era did when the change from RuneScape Classic combat style and formula into RuneScape 2 new combat combat style and formula. A lot of us did not like that switch, but as we continued playing Classic, we would switch over to RuneScape 2 and play sometimes, and eventually it grew on us.
I feel like that was a full proof idea when the big changed happened, and which is why I feel you should leave the door of possibility open for a separate server which is based around RuneScape 2 and the old combat style. Eventually when players feel there is no gain, and the nostalgic memories begin to fade. They might start playing RuneScape 3 like a lot of us started playing RuneScape 2 when we finally felt ready.
I just find it unfair that we in Classic had the option, and players of today simply do not.
I will be looking forward to change this year. I have faith in you.
