As many people have posted they have shown how sick they are of flower gamers, there are a lot of clans or individuals that have bots set up to advertise for their clans. Now we know that there is going to be an increase in the amount of player mods but will this be before the advertising bots are dealt with since creating more mods would allow for more muting, which would help control the spam of site advertisement.

Like many I would want mod status to mute advertising bots even though that is not the reason player mods are chosen. I understand its about helping community and as a comp caper I do give out help/advice here and there, but also as a comp caper I have a raging hate for people cheating at the game using bots.

People that gamble I have no respect for as they got their items through pure luck rather than playing the real game content. Randomly generated items such as the flowers have been a problem for a long time a temp fix would be making them rotate through a pattern which SHOULD be implemented. At least till you get your app ready....

also coming up to hit 600 days of game play in the next week or so :L memes

I know you have probably had this a lot and please don't get annoyed at me for asking but I know most RS community very much preferred the old combat system. I am wondering if there is any ways we can use the old combat system, I know lots of people have gone to private servers, I just want to know if there is any way that is legitimate that we could see the old RS again, most of wouldn't care about our accounts I would think. I know this takes the whole "Adventure" out of the game but if there was a separate game made by Jagex that we could play it could have the old combat system and more focus on the old Pking aspect of the game, If this was to happen I don't think we should have to train our stats because we have put hours of work in our accounts before EoC and it would suck to do it all again. it is such a waste that a lot of player have quit from the EoC because it just ruined PKing. If this is a possibility I think it would be great for Jagex and the RS community as a whole.
remember this would be a seperate game so our accounts on this would have no effect on the live game. if you could back on this it would be great

my dream would be one day wake up check rs home page and you see this "FIXING RUNESCAPE STEP BY STEP" FIRST STEP: REMOVING EOC SECOND STEP: REMOVING SOF AND SGS THIRD STEP: MAJOR BOT BAN/NUKE/RWT BAN SECOND REMOVE FLOWERS AND ALL OTHER METHODS OF GAMBLING FOURTH: FIX ECO FIFTH: BRING BACK PVP WORLDS ****H: SAY SORRY Then runescapes pretty much fixed i would imagine player base jumping from 50k to around 110k

Donza I completely agree with you I would also love a mod status or something that could temp ban because it annoys me so much when I am training and I see a bot doing that exact same skill as me the only difference is that I am doing the skill legitly. it also aggravates me when I see bots spamming their flower fc's. I also agree with you that P-Mods aren't given out just for this reason but there is no physical way a normal player like me or you can stop this sort of thing. If there was a button that could temp mute or temp ban people I am pretty sure this would be used not the way it is meant to so there is really no fix unless Jagex clamps down on bots or people like us could become pmods

EoC is here to stay. You have already been told if you don't like it, don't play. It couldn't of been put more bluntly. I do wish they would reiterate that here. Bored of seeing the same whining.

whilst things need changing, i think that the past year has been pretty good so ar as advancing the game forward.
if you are still griping about you seriously need tio wind it in a bit, just get on with it. i was against it but now im used to it, you have to deal with it. Things will be fine in time, some things just need ironing out, mos of which are above....

Sorry Jagex, players have been telling you for months what the problem is and how to fix it. For many players like myself it is too late to change my mind to make me return to RS. You destroyed the economy and tried to imitate other MMO games. You try to allow unfair advantage by selling XP and products through SOF etc. You have allowed botters and gamblers to get away with making the RS landscape an awful place to come play and chill out. We called out and we pleaded you to help and make changes and it has been too late now to save the damage that has been done. As an ex vet and ex CB 136 I am out forever and years of my life were taken away from me by changing goals that I had worked for for many many days....of playtime.

You Jagex are trying to apologise now that you killed RS and like all murders, no matter how much you say sorry it is too late to bring the one you killed back to life....

It's over, simple...

Delete this post if you cannot stand to hear and read the truth or allow other people to agree with what most of us had been pleading for all along.

I know this is a big ask.. but could Jagex please consider bringing RuneFest overseas, perhaps like a tour? I live in Perth, Australia, and I'm 14, it's just not possible for me to attend any overseas festivals and I truly feel that I am missing out. :'(

Also, here are a few updates I would appreciate:

• Right click clan inviting on guests in the clan chat (the same way you kick/ban them, just right click their names and invite)

•The ability to access the RuneScape lobby on an iPhone/android phone. I have spent the last month in and out hospital and there are times that I have stayed for days on end, not being allowed access to a computer or laptop, only a phone. I sit there on the forums for hours, occasionally checking out the clan forum page, and I see that my friends are online, and I desperately wish I could talk to them. I would appreciate this sooo much!

•A tutorial that teaches people how to use and find their way round on the forums, and perhaps competitions that will encourage them to make use of them.

This would very much be appreciated!

Bots are decreasing? I disagree strongly. Look at the resource dungeons. I want to mine Runite but cant..bots on every world. Brutal green dragons..over run. Blue Dragons in Taverly? I tried 20 different worlds the last two days and there were at least one and in most cases two - three bots in each world. Most worlds have a steady stream of people running from the bank in Varrock to the wizard to mine essence.

They ruin the game for me. I dont mind competing with real people. At least there is a usually a sense of friendly competition.

I have almost stopped reporting them. I see the same names time after time, week after week. Have a mod spend some time in any of those locations and see.
