Hmm..I see that you guys know you've messed up.Around half of your playerbase has quit.If you ATLEAST make EOC on a different website,and bring back the soruce with HD but yet still do the same updates...This will bring back so many players and make so many happy again...I'm one of many many people that does not LIKE the Eoc!I basicly quit..Only time I get on is to do my SOF..SO if you guys REALLY care for your players either take away Eoc or put it on it's own server along with the HD.!

I miss pking, and all of my friends I used to PK with.. I wish it was pre-EOC again, and you guys would appreciate all of the old members that have been around for years, instead of trying to get new members that probably won't be as loyal and patient as we were.

Pking made this game great in my opinion, and there is no way this game will ever be as good unless the change is made back :/

That was a nicely written post. Nice sentiments.

My problem is that RS has many minor players. Buying spins is the same a buying a lottery ticket. It is gambling and it is hooking children into gambling. I expected that the government would actually shut it down. I guess they are too clueless to realize what is happening. But you are an adult with children. What you are doing is morally wrong.

P.S. Sell all the items you want. Sell rs gold. But take it off a wheel.

EoC, EoC, EoC... Not much I can add to it, but EoC update was a very deliberate and sudden update. I could say I nearly fell off my chair seeing it being implemented into RS so quickly.
I don't like it and I won't hate it either.
Firstly, price changes have been crazy lately and I can't explain what happened to the weapon and armour stats. The expotential curve is highly overrated. It definitely does change the way the game is supposed to be played. And I agree with a few players that the Combat XP rates have become a little dull.
Furthermore, some abilities are members and this hinders the newly combat system for F2P. (Subliminal messaging to become members, I suppose.)
In conclusion, EoC isn't necessary for Runescape's future.
Oh well, short rant over.

Hi Mark,

First of all let me say THANK YOU for your sincere post. We**** fans, really appreciate your passion for building a better RuneScape experience.

In my opinion there are two things that the game is missing:

1.) Clans should be able to use audio to communicate. (It would be a big step, and would encourage players to fight together against other clans or monsters.)

2.) A phone number where players that get DDOSed can call quickly to block their account. (I was hacked and lost 284m after hacker sold my bank, it took me 4 years to make my bank. I was about to quit playing the game forever.)

Its pretty obvious from reading what everyone wants instead of turning a blind eye and telling everyone what you want to hear about how so and so helps toward worthless updates that no one cares about. stop with the updates, backtrack and take the game back to the point when the most number of people use to play it. Have something between rs classic and todays rs, having rs from like 2005 and before and i dont even care if you dont update it. you can continue adding the ridiculous updates on your new rs and the players that want that can play that.

As for botting you can easily go stand in a certain areas where there are 10 to 20 bots in each world and just permanently ban them all and be rid of bots in a matter of a week if you really wanted to. It isnt like they are doing it in hiding, they bot in plan sight in your entire community knows this, if the jagex staff even spent 5 mins playing rs and did regular stuff they would spot 15 to 25 bots instantly from jsut walking around. but you shut us up and ignore us because bots pay, they pay for membership. I understand that but if you really arent going to do anything on a serious level like that then dont make false promises and hopes that we have been listening to for the past 3 years. its getting old and everyones getting tired of false garbage hope.. you do bot nuke and then raise membership price cause of it and then bots slowly come right back in, with even bigger numbers now then before... its starting to become like the story of the boy who cried wolf..

Agreed. Look at the bigger RS videomakers out there. Chris Archie, Sparc Mac, B0aty-they're all famous for PKing. Pking is what RuneScape was known for. Heck, even Nightmare is famous for his (horrible) Pking skills (and hilarious reactions!)

You know what, I really find it disturbing that the balancing in mini-games is off wack! Fist of Guthix is a primary example. I either face someone too weak or too strong! There are so many more updates that also need to improve F2P, I feel its kinda lacking...And runecoins!

For gosh sake, let them be in-game obtainable, or else its just completely useless to most players! If one thing is for sure, we also need to experience older holiday and special missions, random events also need to have a stronger presence in the game!

Please don't give up, bring back the old aspects that made this game awesome! Crack down on hackers as well, they have hacked people I know, left and right! Let us actually kill bots as well!

EoC update - wasn't that bad, it's kinda nice, i only have a few problems with it (2 or 3) but that's it, i think it was a good update.

as long as i am not being forced to buy more spins or forced to buy items from soloman's store, i am okay with it, heck the spin's make it easier to get exp, and easier to get some money (1k or 5k is what i get normally) so there shouldn't be players going around asking for money, cause Jagex practically hands it over to you. No excuses for not having at least 1k, that amount is enough to start making money (some is better then none).

Bots - just do what you can about it, they are annoying as heck, but i can just ignore them (yay for ignore list)

scammers -if it's too good, it is probably a trap.

Promotions - understandable, you are trying to get more people to play runescape. heck i liked the giveaways, free stuff is good... right?

communication is important, keep up the good work. ^_^

i am actually looking forward to see what you got for us.

keep doing what you are doing (listening to your players).

i am glad to see a "thank you", i feel appreciated
