How about some new loyalty items? There haven't been any in nearly a year. Jagex needs to focus more on rewarding members for their continued loyalty, and less on siphoning all the money out of our pockets.

Try adding a gnome costume, a gorilla costume, a dwarf costume, and a goblin costume.

And how about some new werewolf-related content? There's tons of morytania/vampyre quests. but *one that focus on werewolves. Also, the werewolves of Canifis are beyond outdated, especially compared to the GWD werewolves.

I really feel like I've got to say this for a few, not Jagex, but the players:

If you will be willing to calmly and constructively state your case in a way that is not accusatory, is clear, and also demonstrates that you are willing to be responsible, and accountable for your end of things... (your in-game behavior, your attitude on the forums, etc.)

...then I think Jagex is more likely to listen to you.

This is true in all areas of life and some people do better or worse at it regardless of age. I know this is something I need to work on still myself. Thumbs up if you get me.

Okay, this is my own personal concern:

MMG and Jagex: I appreciate what's being done with EoC-- it has done a lot to get me interested in combat generally again, even in areas I might not be interested in otherwise. (I'm more of a non-combat skiller.) However, I think some things were rushed, and I basically think that the beta should have lasted longer. I hope lines of communication will be improved as I think this is one area that needs it the most for the time being.

I eagerly await some love and attention for the non-combat skilling side of things again. Shattered Heart was marvelous; I still collect rocks even after finishing my replica statue in my POH. I've made plenty of to-do lists and goals on my own, and Daily Challenges saves me a little work there. But it's not enough. EoC shattered a lot of the market for items that are not weapons and armo(u)r. The streamlining of Magic in rune costs for Modern and Ancient spellbooks were nice-- any chance Lunars can get similar consideration? (I see Energy Transfer is technically used only in Livid Farm for now-- but Pauline Polaris still needs her Suqah random fixed!) I remember talk of an update that "old-schoolers should enjoy"... will it adequately address how uneven the playing field is now?

I try to make my suggestions reasonable and based on existing code so the devs have an easier time-- thanks for reading.

i find it extremely unethical to say that ur are selling spins and other such things to hire and recruit more workers. firstly we would like to see proof of this. secondly that shows how much confidence you actually have in the game. to see that so many people quite (because of the eoc) and thus you compensate for your failings by advetising spins and other such things on your website. i think that is unethical and disgraceful. the worst thing is the premier club. you are telling me that you have to pay more to become involved in the premier club. are the current member not important to you enough that you have to make a premier club, for the 'loyalts' of fans - absolutley ridiculous. i find that jagex are a bunch a money theiving people whose only interests are actually their own. i heard on a different forum that some guy called mark was thinking about a legit way of introducing gambline. i mean for godsake, what a way to influence kids. kids will play this gambling no doubt (not knowing any better), which will only inspire them to go this way in real life. the fact of the matter is is that there is going to be some illigitmate gambling, runescape is just game, if you get scammed for gambling its your own bloody fault! but that really bothered me because despite claims about being ethical and all when ur trying to legitimise gambling in a game largely played by kids - disgraceful. as a business i see you going down hill. first the eoc was a complete joke. in what world is the eoc anything like the real game. it was a bigger jump that rs2 from classic since the fundementals were still the same in rs classic as they were in rs2. what happened to the customer is always right. the list is endless. i must also advise your company to be wise and be more realistic. setting targets for 2014/15 is not realistic. you might have come up with an entirely different idea. also if ur not careful the game will be running by that time.

buck up ur ideas jagex!

oh my goodness..the frustration i have with these players...

EVERYONE needs to understand that these updates are mostly NECESSARY.
you will not have your 2006scape again because the games is GROWING and CHANGING...as all things in this world are.
MICRO-TRANSACTIONS and the EOC are completely necessary and anyone who understands business, gaming...well anyone who is smart..understands that through things like SOF and SGS..Jagex, just as they have stated, are able to hire much more people! double or maybe even triple the staff. they are also able to put money into new updates and game structures. i Do not know exactly how money goes into creating games but it does cost money and obviously runescape is expanding a tremendous amount, therefore another form of payment is required..UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SPAMMED WITH ADVERTISEMENTS..which will never even be able to cover the cost. the only complaints i have with jagex are that they need to just tell you players how it is..majority of players i see are 16 years old and below..MANY players are immature, and for those of you who are older, do not act like children and WHINE!
The community in runescape has changed and is now generally much more crappy..no one even bothers to just chat it up anymore (besides my clan)..community of younger and much more immature little kids who all they care about is money money money! its disgusting

JAGEX: if my input is to be looked at..all i humbly ask is to dissolve the massive amount of gamblers there are in the grand exchange, and to also create a larger incentive for players to earn money legitimately. Possible more rare monster drops? idk what is possible..but everyone is trying to get money fast, can there be an incentive to skill or boss for money? so that gambling and scamming can be demolished? i really dont have anything to complain about though..as a player since 2005 i love where runescape is going..BESIDES the community..but keep up the GREAT WORK guys ! :D

All I know is that in 8 years of always having runescape to fall back on after my other mmo adventures got old. I have never seen the game this messed up.

I really hope that you guys get this figured out. I hope somethings done soon because the armor situation sucks. To tell you the truth the whole game is starting to suck. I can buy a boat working my real job the amount of time it would take to earn the gold to buy your new items. That just magically sucked all the stats from our old equipment.

How about just let us all hit that 200M once on a daily spin. Rofl! I know, I know thats for coal and logs only.

Joke :P
Not really....

I haven't read through the whole thread so if you have answered this please excuse my missing the answer.

Jagex has said they want to be open and communicate, yet it often seems legitimate player questions go unanswered, which is frustrating and infuriating to players.

A prime example is Loyalty Shop Bank boosters which we were told would be coming to the Loyalty shop months ago, but as yet has not materialized. What ever happened to this?

Personally, I gave up on getting an answer from Jagex and used the Runecoins I got with gold membership to get bank boosters, but players are still waiting for an answer about bank boosters coming to the loyalty shop.

If Jagex wants to communicate, tell us what your plans are on bank boosters coming to the Loyalty shop. Even saying you have not decided is better than no answer.
Hi.

With all due respect, I don't recall a whole lot of people asking for these kinds of updates. You say the SoF and SGS was put into the game to get more staff and change the game, but the majority of runescape isn't asking for you to completely change the game, in fact most of us are asking you to please leave runescape how it is, adding new skills isn't a bad thing but completely changing the combat system ruined pking, made training 2x as fast, and made boss killing pointless due to the fact that items crashed because they are useless now -like the godswords are not unique so they are coming to the same price-

THIS.... Is a news post that's far over due.

Nonetheless, though, I'm most grateful for this direct response to the community, and your addressing these big issues. You personally have won back some brownie points from me! ;)

However, just because you've reflected upon and admitted to your past mistakes, doesn't mean I won't be watching closely. Just because you admit there's a problem, it means nothing if you don't act upon.

So while you've delayed the RS doomsday clock for now, if you still don't correct the issues addressed in the post, I'm afraid it's midnight for you...

On that happy note, thanks for keeping us in the know! I REALLY appreciate it, as many others do!

Cheers!
