So if 2013 is the year of us will we be getting legacy servers. I dont care if they are updated I want to play the game I grew up with and loved. And we all know how often you change your minds over there at jagex. So legacy servers yes or no?

I don't see much progress in getting rid of the gold farming bots at all. When the game is full of level 200 gold farming bots I don't believe jagex is doing anything to get rid of them.

They put in bottany bay more as a way to make it look like they were doing something.
I can go any world at any time of day and find at least 100 bots running 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.

Jagex saying they are trying to get rid of them is absolute horse crap. They get rid of a few very publically with bottany bay. They made it a spectacle to make it look like they are doing something.

If jagex was serious they could easily identify and bann them.

bots pay, bots stay.

chaos tunnel green dragons
level 30 wild green dragon
llevel 12 wild green dragons
brutal green dragons
Mithril dragons
frost dragons
grotworms
rune essence mine
living rock cavern mineral bots(any world)
living rock cavern fishing bots(lrc worlds)
living rock cavern mining bots(lrc worlds)
black demons
nechrael
abyssal demons
aberrant specters
advertising bots(ge, daemonheim on dung worlds)
nature rune crafting bots
chinchompa hunting bots (are they still there?)
coal mining bots(mining guild)
yew trees
magic trees
willow trees

Are there still a lot of flax picking bots?
spinning bots?
log cutting bots?

What is is jagex...20%?...30%?...50% of all players online at times are bots?

bots pay, bots stay.

Management of runescape seems to only be interested in getting more money out of existing players pockets.

Want more bank space? Pay more money.
Want interesting animations? Pay more money.

When the items were strictly cosmetic it didn't bother me...now they have items, pets, etc that improve gameplay that you have to pay to get...

Has any noticed how hard it is to kill the saradomin wizards now on treasure trails?
I had full armadyl armor, a saradomin bow, broad arrows, turmoil class range prayer and used abilities.
I could still barely hit the saradomin wizard and i t took forever to kill one

i actually do feel to that runescape is a sinking ship. wich is truely sad cuz i've been playing this game for 10 years. and i loved every year before that spinning wheel an solomon store. When i log in i see players gambling with odd or even, h/c. Everyone can see jagex shows the example with that weel. You could make a big sign saying gamblescape. Botters and goldfarmers (wich i hate) are just doing the same what jagex does with solomon store. Selling runescape items for real cash.

But thats not the worst part. people deceiving others and hustling fair playing players. Some people might say now o well u have to be a fool to get lured or scammed. but the truth cannot be further. For even I have been lured twice. I am 27years and got lured a red and purple p hat. Those hats that i bought many years ago when i still could afford and was so proud of (i'm not mercher or flipper). And what hurts me the most is that those skilled hustlers don't get puniched.

Botting and goldfarming should be puniched, but they don't hurt people the way lurers and scammers do. I would love to see jagex put some effort in that.

I hope runescape takes a turn around for the good way, because i love this game and i would be sad to see this end. I still believe runescape can be saved. But than jagex has to see the players more as individuals instead of moneybags.
the one and many

To bot ranters: Bot banning is a process that takes time. They need to know which players are and aren't bots. Of course, to win the bot war, Jagex will have to successfully sue and take down all - and I mean ALL - bot companies, which MIGHT require buying them off their owners then making the bots so crappy that they can't be used.

To RWT haters: MMG said that money made off of micro-transactions will be used to hire more Jagex employees and for more projects. It's also probably being saved up to buy bot companies and make the bots too crappy.

Albert Einstein also said "Make everything as simple as possible, but no simpler." "everything" includes plans, which are always complex. Maybe Jagex's plans are made as simple as possible. If they were any simpler, like simply banning all bots or removing SoF and SGS, Jagex will not get anything accomplished.

Jagex the number of players online at anytime show how big of a mistakte eoc was. I will never enjoy this new combat system, i loved the old runescape even if it was the one of november 19th. Anything but eoc.

@Savethearth Yeah but surely there is enough people gaining an advantage in life as it is that a game can be a nice environment where we can all be equal. Ofc even play time is an advantage but I just hate monetary advantages in games.
