Well many of us 'old school loyal players' knew you'd do this as you knew that
500-750k votes was unachieveable and you would make a 'gesture' otherwise
called butt licking to make up for the failed EOC, SOF cash for gold updates
ect that caused so much angry reaction towards you by MMG.
Another money spinner to get members to join just to vote but won't pay
your high fees to play 2007.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
Bring back RS NOV 2012 PRE EOC which you claim to have thrown away then
watch your membership grow back as i along with other vets will or have quit
when current subscription expies. I will not and won't lose all my stats ect to
pay you to make me a lvl 3,if i wanted to i would make a new account not have
one forced on me i don't have the time i used to have,this account has been built
up gradually over 7 years not by playing 24/7 i won't play EOC much longer.RIP RS.

What are you talking about? You aren't paying for 07 servers now and you won't after six months. Learn to read. Jagex isn't charging for them at all at the moment, and if the old school community drops, it would be an OPTIONAL additional charge for those who want to play the 07 servers. Not everyone would be required to pay for them. Quit whining and keep playing the game you like. No where does it say that current members would be required to pay for it in the future if they don't want to play it. O_o

Thank you very much to MMG and the Jagex team for making this possible. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game, and keeping the price as it is now will enable me (and thousands of other players) to continue to afford, play, and enjoy the nostalgic Runescape experience. Fantastic! ^_^

Thank you, Jagex, for doing the right thing and lowering the cost even though we were about 50k from the goal. I wasn't sure I wanted to keep a subscription just to play Old School if I was going to have to pay nearly $13 a month to play. This has made it more affordable for me, and more likely that I'll stick around.

Thank you good sir!! it really is greatly appreciated that the Jagex team could bring back a few dedicated servers to us "old Timers". Honestly I know that you guys have put sooo much time into developing the EOC and it has "changed" the game. For some for the worse and some for the better, Probably for the future of the game and to stay competitive towards other games this was the right choice. However, I believe that it came off to aggressively and much without the option of the player's. For me as soon as the EOC was launched i felt like I had a hard time "continuing" to play the game. It really was a Massive change. But something like this game that I felt like i had basically mastered was re-built. Either way. It really was for the best of the game and I know that you guys did not just think of yourselves about an update like this.

Now that that's done. Thank you guys so much for bringing back an 07 server and I look forward to scaping just like the old times with all of you oldschool players.
