Catching and banning any bots is, of course, good news. The bad news is: it was a drop in the bucket. RuneScape is drenched in bots. Most popular MMORPG's have bots, but RuneScape is simply awash in them, to a degree that eclipses other games. It should be evident enough by now that Jagex's approach to the botting problem is flawed grom the ground up. I think I'll probably renew again, just because it's still a good game despite the bots...it would just be so better without them.
Edit: But you're really pushing your luck, Jagex, with me and many other players.

could you send some mods to the grot worm area by the queen dragon?
it really has gotten bad no matter what world one may go to.
people are now just avoiding that area due to the bot problem getting way out of control.
a person if they wanted to could really spend an entire day reporting bots down there.
its like usually 3 to 4 bots on average for each grot worm spawn place. dont matter what wold you go to just pick one, though some are worse then others its in all worlds.

killing them is now impossible.
do something please. the community is begging you.

ya... you didnt do a very good job.. ive been a loyal member for years now and i want to see the bots destroyed. as someone said earlier if you want to find bots go to the grotworm layer on literally every single world and there will be atleast 40 bots... and an idea for you to do is make an item that doesnt harm the player but if the player gets hit it checks him to see if he/she is boting and if so will immediatly ban them. or when you ban someone you need to ban that ip address as well to keep the same person from making another account.

and a tip to all you bot haters out there get a large group or clan together and go to areas where bots are in larger numbers like baxtorian falls or the grotworm layer and everyone report them all so the reporting might accually work...

um good job to ban some of the bots on runescape, but the report abuse fail nothing as been monitored when a player has been reported by another player, we have reported other players were possitive their botting yet we feel nothing has been done :@ fully i just a sugestion for the staff monitor the report abuse better
