hey RS mods, how about an idea. make it possible for US to REPORT botters. then YOU can look into it, and ban them. im really sick of this BS. the hard working players still left in the game, cant even mine mith/addy/rune in ANY world with the resource dungeon. theres mining bots all over the place.

maybe make the resource dungeons so that to enter, you need to solve a simple puzzle? Do something, because im seriously about to find a new game. and i dont mean next week, or next month... i mean like, today. theres enough of us, paying you for memberships, that you should be able to come up with, and program a BASIC Security protocol so these ******* cant use the spots that should REALLY be reserved for real players. (resource dungeon)

Thanks for a speedy response, and stopping the bots in the resource mine immediately. i just went through every world one at a time, and not a SINGLE one has a real person in it.

This isn't just the ressource dungeons, it is almost *any* area either offering good ressources or monsters with good drops. Huge parts of the game are simply unplayable by now.

Since Jagex obviously can't pull out a working technical solution right now, they should consider throwing some manpower in to do some bot cleaning sessions. Won't solve the problem really, but would at least show something is done; free some spots to be playable again for a while and last, but not least, target the frustration that spreads among legit players almost as fast as new bots spread in the game.

Right click the suspicious account, the choose "report" in the context menu.
If you don't have this option, click your settings (options) and activate the "right click reporting" checkbox.

Even though I've never experienced reporting to have any effect - bots kept botting happily on for weeks and month -, I'd suggest to use this option with care and responsibility only if you are sure the account you target is run by a script, not by a real person.

not gonna lie i always thought the bot nuke was a bunch of bs.. cause every time i hear jagex speak about "taking action against macro users" i literally see fifteen times more bots cutting magics in seers village....... i think it hit its absolute worst about a month or two ago.. but the messed up part is seriously ive played this game for upwards of 8 years. and i never ever noticed a bot problem UNTIL bot nuke came along, AFTER bot nuke the botting problem just intensified times fifty. but jagex has CLEARLY gotten their stuff together for once in a decade and taken REAL steps to ACTUALLLY fix this. which surprises me in a huge way. i commend jagex for their recent (and to my opinion the actual first) attempts to relieve the community of players using macro programs..... i believe if jagex gets off their rear and starts thinking more of the community than they do of money this whole "anti bot" idea may actually work. and i greatly thank them for their first ever apparent efforts to do so. i dont mean to sound like "that guy" and i know this problem is not as simple as i may think. but man ive seen literally 12 bots cutting on the same magic tree. ive seen the same guy botting for five days straight with absolutely no break and reported him upwards of 20 times to abolutely no effect whatsoever. i feel as though jagex takes a great deal of care banning free-to-play bots while they are incredibly reluctant to ban a pay-to-play- bot. as i am typing i am woodcutting with eight different bots, almost all of which have been in the same spot, same world, same area for two to four days now. i feel as though a lot more could be done to support the members community as apposed to the free community as the members are the only ones paying to use the game. while i greatly commend jagex for recent efforts i only ask why do i see ten times more bots every time you "launch an attack on bots" and im not just saying this i honestly do see an increase ever single time....
