Psst.. Mod Seven... Jagex has not banned bots I still see in W86. There are 2 that have been botting at the blue dragon in Burthrope for over 6 weeks straight. They are both there aallllll day long and have not been banned. I have reported them daily each time I go down there (a few times each day). It would be nice to see more bots banned but perhaps a quick look at the ban reporting log would help you all with the bans. =]

In regards to reporting bots. How does Runescape process the bot reports that are made in the game. I have reported many accounts that I assume are bots, but I don't know if Runescape considers my reports as valid.

(1) What does Runscape consider to be evidence of a bot?

(2) What are techniques I can use to effectively report bot* that I see?

I was wondering when jagex would get around to the bots in the acient cave and more to the point the grotworm lair?

I would love to be able to do my slayer task without having to fight with horeds of bots.

I do aprecciate the effort but it seems they multiply on the spot. Maybe the are unigendered and spawn there offspring as they work? Who knows.

My biggest question though is what is being done for those real world traders who keep sending private messages for RSgold?

I recieve so many that i'm seariously considering turning my pm to friends only, witch would not be fun for those whoom i try and assist for effigies and so fort. I always report them and ignor till log out, but it seems they are all still around, any chance these are being worked on?

It would also be nice to see a sticky somewhere detailing certain trends a player can look for in making a decision wether a player is a bot or not. I am always causious on weather or not i should report someone for boting or macroing and it would turn out there not. I sure wouldn't apprecciate it if someone reported me for it because i fell to answer them and i was sitting at the bank fletching my 5k maple log into bows.

Hello.. i just come to say there are places packed of bots still..

Blue dragons area (Burthope i think it is the one that you can pass through the pipe and get to the blue drags..)

It's packed of bots... jagex when you will start taking care about this TERRIBLE issue for one time at all?

We are paying money.

Yohotsu and Twin Herts are still at warped torts w99. I know that by now, they have banked hundreds of millions worth of rune drops and shells. I have lost thousands of slayer xp as a result of canceling this task alone, not to mention grotworms and other monsters I no longer bother with. Why am I paying full price for a game I can't play 100% because of the bots? Why do jagmods lie about banning bots? Seems to me it may have something to do with most players only having one account and most botters run as many as 10 accounts per computer. Admit it, you can't afford to lose the revenue to ban all the bots. The only thing this thread and my experience reporting bots has shown me and others is that it's obviously pretty safe to bot and make yourself a few hundred million in the process. Good thing I don't believe in 'if you can't beat them, join them' and do believe in following the TOS. I just wish that TOS would actually apply to everyone equally, and not just those of us with only 1 account instead of 10 or more.

I find myself playing less and less because of my disgust with this problem. I wonder how long it will be before I finally give up and spend my monthly membership fee on a different game like most of my clan and friends have done. Here's a suggestion for you. Ban the bots and ***** the graphic updates! Fix your issues before releasing more content into the game.

Now to go cancel this task again, loose more slayer points and xp as a result. Thanks Jag, I really appreciate your effort to satisfy customer complaints. Have a wonderful **** day =\

thank you for the time you Jagex ban my account even though I've never used a program like that because there was no need or would become so innocent that you ban a player like is more of the case and you've noticed your mistake and removed the ban
