'A new year has dawned and 2012 fades into the past, however our resolve against botters and those who would use exploits to gain an unfair advantage over others has never wavered'
except for the time when it wavered enough to not bother banning any of the many players that exploited the Corp beast glitch and even openly admitted it
The construction bug allowed many people to get mass amounts of experience and although many accounts did get banned many did not. 7/10th of accounts that done it got banned and they need to step it up and find and ban the other 3/10th so that people who legitimately get toward 200m exp don't have to worry a bout fighting against cheaters for their ranks. Don't stop looking for them so soon Jagex you have missed many accounts!! Bann the rest!
I'm sick of people bragging about how they still have so many accounts that haven't got banned yet. I don't want anyone to get away with this it isn't fair whatsoever and I'm wondering why it took Jagex 19 hours to figure out this and stop it. When releasing such an update it should be monitored for at least 5 hours by someone to make sure things like this don't happen. You could of put one person on this task and realized what people were doing much sooner which would of allowed you to fix it and have to ban much fewer people and therefore saving you money by keeping other members who wouldn't of been able to figure this out. Hopefully from now on you learn to monitor experience or money giving updates for a few hours after release to keep these things in check before you end up with less that 20k players. Hope you figure this out.
So you're telling us that you have banned all the bots and they wont get back again? Damn it Jagex, at least be honest with us- everybody knows that bots and scumbags find their way back. As a fact, the 77k players currently online are definitely not 100% legit players. Please stop the propaganda about your unexecuted achievements- everyone can see the problem, hiding or covering it up wont help.
Well I'm pretty sick and tired of repeating this over and over but you guys must do something with the RWT bots because that's all that is in game anymore. This isn't the days of Living Rock Caverns where regular players botted. LRC is empty now compared to how it was back then so you can obviously conclude that it's just RWT bots now since normal players can't really bot anymore. But if a fraction of actual players managed to bot and got banned this time around, great job Jagex. But both sides actually need to be constantly punished. I also want to mention that it doesn't make sense at all that bot companies have their RWT bots back online and in game right after a game update while in the past the bot managers had hours or even of downtime for the bots that were available to the general public. What's the deal with this Jagex as you claim you've made your bot detection systems super advanced now? Shouldn't RWT bots not be back online within the hour of an update?
As for the bug abusers I do have something to mention about this. I support you guys in only one way for this. Yes, I do think action should be done against people point blank obviously knowing their doing it. But, what about people who are using said glitch without realizing it's a glitch? There are no cheat codes in Runescape unless your on a Jmod account, so who's to say a random player might accidentally start using said glitch and just keep playing like they would on the new content? I assume you guys punish these people as well? If you aren't, I am sorry for accusing you, Jagex. But if your punishing everyone, which I imagine your doing based on your past enforcement of bug abuse rules, that is just not right because how is one to know if their abusing said bug if they just randomly came across it. Mass banning almost right after an update leads me to believe you guys just take the easy way of banning anyone who did it rather than individually investigating each and every user. --Continued below--

Also, I would like to mention, as these bugs are patched up right after a hole is found, I don't think it would hurt to let the rest of the community know exactly how they were manipulating it rather than leaving us in the dark like you always have in the past with things like this. If you guys have done a thorough job of patching up your bugs then you should have no fear of telling us this information.

when someone figures out how to cheat on a new update so fast it must be because one of your own is helping the fact that you refuse this time to release the names of those who were caught especially the high level one makes us think that you are protecting your own which is why so many rumors about jagex staff using bots themselves and selling bots or runescape gold still persist
For the health and good of all post the top level cheaters at least so see we can see that they and their scores have been removed and show a list of your people who have been caught too
Don't expect us believe you too many times you have made statements that were either false or changed later we need proof not the word of people who don't listen to us
