Gonna get jumped on majorly for this, but hear me out.

We knew something like this new wave was happening, because all of a sudden Botany Bay got super busy again. As in, trials back-to-back for spaces of an hour or more (I was potato running in Ardougne b/c of boredom a few weeks ago). If this is happening on every world, say, 25 trials a day for 3 weeks, you're looking at a couple of thousand names.
1) If somebody starts a name/shame forum, who's going to update it? That'd be a full-time job right there!
2) Do we REALLY want one of the mods working on that instead of something else? (I mean, we could always take half of the SoF team and put them on it...the motivation that group has shown is astounding!)
3) Who would check it? Seriously? We all have better things to do.

Whether Jagex is killing bots or not is up to you to decide. You can get names just by hanging out in one of the more populated worlds... or you can go do something productive. As for me... no name/shame forum thread, PLEASE. Waste of time and bytes.

Many shortsighted peoples blames EOC, including some of bot owners I talked to, but rs bots already existed long time before Jagex launched it. Free trade is real reason of bot problem. Actually there always been bots in runescape, but during trade limit period mostly they were few lazy players who wanted to gain stats and money without effort, not hordes of goldfarmers. I see only persons really benefiting from free trade are all kind of scammers, hackers, money beggars, gamblers, price manipulators, RWTers and yes, goldfarmer-bots. Amounts they do it soon is going to destroy this game (money source for them) completely. Even most parasites are smarter and don't kill they host. If Jagex can't fix this problem in any other way, maybe they should consider removal of free trade. Can it get any worse than it's now? :(

That's harsh to ban people associated with those users, Why should someone else be banned for something some ignorant person done. It's like banning anyone who had the person added will be permanently banned, And my hard work for someone's stupidity gone in a quick second.

This is how you lose players Jagex and you question the community what makes a better game, Well for one stop being a youtube and fixing things that aren't broken. Want to flood people back into your game? remove the grand exchange 4 hour buy & sell limit. 88% of the Game's users were merchanters / clan merchants but you ruined that for them so they're quitting your game for another. And stop being so competitive to world of war craft It's a joke honestly.

its total nonsen* what jagex is saying, the wont tell us how many got banned or who got banned no one can varify the information given by jagex and yet they claim they banned bots yet i fish everyday in guild and i still see the same damn bots!!!

80%-90% of all players in this game are botters or auto typers at some time or a other, iv reported bots by the dozen and then weeks later i still see them fishin* and walking arround, so i personally lost all faith in jagex to do anything about this..

never trust anyone or any company who teaches lil kids how to gamble.. THAT IS THE BUTTOM LINE!!!! someone with such low values and morals cannot be trusted!!!
