Another big kick in the teeth to us long-time members.
I have been paying a monthly membership by direct debit for far too many years, including those where I may have played for less than 10 hours - if at all.
Members on recurring subscriptions have ALREADY committed to future membership (unless you really upset us) so why don't we get the benefits for 'loyalty' available for purchasing only 90 days worth of membership.
My membership is already secured - unless I tell my bank to stop paying monthly - so I do not want to have to continually 'interrupt' this and purchase additional months or even years of membership.
Is this just a mechanism for trying to squeeze more money, $75 a year instead of $60, out of us PROVEN, LONG-TERM, LOYAL players or is it just that Jagex has been taken over by the bean-counters ?
It would be much nicer if any benefits for pre-payment were automatically made available to any member who has maintained a monthly subscription for the previous 12 months.
