I see whats going on here JAGEX had so many cancel their membership after eoc. This way if you don't like whats is going in RS and you decide to quit the terms and conditions say all is final no refunds. So your stuck with a year of RS you don't want anymore. Kinda sneaky don't you think all the extra goodies covering up it's real intent.

The top brass at Jagex are probably predicting Jagex to go bankrupt before the year is up, and planning to dump their shares... hence all the 'extra benefits' for 1 year membership paid up front.

After all, if Jagex goes under, the customers' money don't get refunded.

Sadly enough they don't want the money that much, why not make it available to more payment options? (like iDeal...)

Furthermore, the $75 to euro calculation is incorrect too, it's not the 65€ as shown, but 57€ instead...Any idea why it is miscalculated?

Edit: I'm not sure if it was already this way, but it's available for me to buy it by iDeal now, so tempting to buy it now :)

Edit #2: Jagex has explained the change of money on one of the other threads, so i guess it's just *air enough...

@ Jagex executives,
Your most loyal members will be paying $15.00 more per year "an x-tra 3 months worth of membership" for this gold membership package. I realize you are trying to attract new members but where is Jagex's loyalty to your members that have paid membership for 5, 6, 7, or more years. We pay $5.00 per month. We are the people that have been supporting Jagex the longest and helped you get where you are today.

I own a business, the one thing that i make sure i do is to make sure my oldest costumers that have been loyal and spend their hard earned money with me get my loyalty in return. I think it would be a very bad business practice by jagex if they DID NOT grandfathering in our current price of $60.00 for the 12 month gold membership.

We aren't asking for an additional discount, we are just asking for jagex to honor our current price so your most loyal members can enjoy your gold membership without costing us any additional money.

I think Jagex needs to consider their most loyal members and offer us the gold membership without increasing the cost of membership over the course of the year.

Why does this package not contail the Bloodpouncer that is available for redeeming a gamecard?
Paying 15 Month in advance is a little much don't you think?
Any chance of adding it to the list of Premier Club benefits?

Also both the game card and the Premier package are much more expensive than buying them regularly via the normal subscription.
I can only shake my head in disbelief over your marketing practices...

So now there's not a snowballs chance you will get rid of bots.

In six monthe time the only steady income you will have is the bot revenue, rwt, and few subs from those that haven't bought this package.

Doing this to pay off your greedy investors and to cover up the fact that legit players paying membership will not keep this game afloat now.

Getting a years wages at once is fine,but as you well know this will be a feast then famine situation.

Hope the transformers basket is good quality as i'd hate to see all your eggs go for a burton.

Like so many others, I, too, pay the subsidized $5 USD rate for membership per month, which is considerably less, neglecting the commodity values of the other goodies, than the 'discounted' rate of the bronze, silver, and gold packages.

Would you be so kind as to address two common concerns among users of my category:

1) Are you willing to offer the loyal members of the community an equal or lesser discounted rate for membership for each of the respective packages, considering that we must commit to a whole year's worth of membership rather than the monthly rate which we already receive? For example, the $5 USD amount would be reduced by 22% to $3.90 per month for the gold membership option, or you would retain the $5 USD amount per month instead.

2) Do we retain the $5 USD charge following the expiration of our Premier Club membership, considering that we continue to pay for membership in the same manner?
