Paid for a 6 month mem, then EOC was shoved down my throat. Hate to play now, so basically wasted 3 months.

Uhm....what happens to you guys if this happens to you a few months into gold??

No need to worry, loyal long-term members, whether buying this will affect your reduced membership rate.

Due to their current management "style", there won't be a game to be bothered paying for in a year anyway.

But they will happily provide gameplay for you on some Tuesday in January 2014, for all your moneys today.

rin. you can have all the things you want. i wouldnt care if jagex put a christmas cracker into your bank.. but i guarantee one day you will posting about stuff like this when you have paid to play long enough.. and when you have worked out how much contempt the people who provide the service you pay for actually have for you...then you will post.

For those of you who have been asking what it is that you actually get....

I just spent some time at the support center and discovered that everything you get from the Premier Club is purely cosmetic, no actual items at all......

All three packages give you " a chance " (what does that mean ? I might not be able to use it for some reason they don't specify?) to don the righteous Paladin Armour set of " cosmetic overrides "

(this means that it just hides the appearance of actual items, all your legs, helms and torsos will look identical when worn)

A valid solution to this would be exactly what they're saying they're doing. Give you discounts on the current price you pay, so that if you're a loyal member you will pay the following prices:

3 months/Bronze: $13.80 (8% saved)
6 months/Silver: $26.40 (12% saved)
1 year/Gold: $46.80 (22% saved)

That way we actually get the discount while buying the packages. It makes sense. Reward loyal players with the same discount that non-members/not loyal members are getting. Check out my suggestion for a Tears of Guthix Sequel

None of you will have the chance to pay the actual value of the recurring membership ever again...they will come up with more crap next year anyways which you all will jump into buying again for another 12 months lock-in ...how come ***ody spots the trend ?

I have been playing runescape for almost 10 years and I am really disappointed in the direction this game is going. Items and skills used to be earned now they can be bought with cash. Please get rid of the bots Jagex makes enough money leave things alone already.
